Does it state somewhere on their website that finalists are able to delete colleges from their rankings?

Thanks coocoocachoo!

physicsnut1, do you mean the Questbridge ID number? That ID number is on your locker page with all the application info etc. where it is like “Welcome, first name. Your Questbridge ID number is…”

No not the QB ID number… on the Yale financial cover sheet, it asks you to put your QB ID, your Yale ID and your name on the top of all financial papers… hmmm

Have you guys already submitted yours?

My concern is that it says it will take 48hrs to process but if we were to come to school and have the counselor fax it first thing… 48 hours later would be Weds morning. So would that still be acceptable? Or does it need to be faxed by 12 tonight?

Much thanks!

I think it will be fine if it’s faxed Tuesday; they probably tell you about the 48 hour processing time so you don’t call and ask them if they received it or not. I still need to get my GC’s signature so mine will be faxed Tuesday, which I do hope is not too late.

@ Presidont: Thanks! Yeah I need to ask my GC to sign it tomorrow morning. Hopefully it won’t be too late if it’s faxed on Tuesday.

So with editing the rankings, does rearranging/deleting require the submission of a new Agreement Form?

Indeed it does, but I believe that is for after you find out if you’re a finalist.

I have a question–If I don’t rank any colleges, but end up as a Finalist, am I still allowed to ED/EA to other colleges or is this violating the agreement???

You are allowed to ED/EA if you opt out of the match round :)

please help me…
okay so I ranked princeton and one of their requirements says the common app with letters of recommendation.

on the common app, there are those teacher recommendation forms thats they fill out. Are those the “letters” that princeton wants? Or do they means they want seperate actual letters with the “To Whom It May Concern” statement?
I’m confused :[

Just saw your post and we need to know if this NCWP is due to be faxed back to QB by Oct.12 or on Nov.2. Somewhere before getting the application submitted I saw if the non custodial parents income was -O- it needed to go in via fax with the match agreement. Was I seeing things in the scurry to get the application in or did anyone else see this quideline /timeline? Thanx.

Hey everyone! Quick question- I know that most of the people who apply have a family income of under $60,000. My family makes about $62,000, but we have 8 members living in our household. Do you guys think my chances of being offered anything are pretty slim? Thanks!

^I think you have a good chance. 8 people is definitely a lot.

To request a waiver of your noncustodial parent’s financial contribution, you will need to send a Noncustodial Parent Waiver Petition to each college that you rank for the College Match. The form is due by November 2. Instructions for submitting the form to each college are included in the College Specific Requirements page.

Does anyone know if we’re still going to be notified of our finalist status on Oct. 22nd despite the extension of the deadline?

Who is supposed to fax the Match Participation Agreement-- your counselor or you?

^sinflower asks a good question. I’d like to know also, but I’m getting my counselor to fax it because I don’t have access to a fax machine. And she has to sign it anyway.

Does ranking college process affect on their finalist decision??

For instance, If I rank the most competitive schools that are too good for me, are they going to reconsider my finalist decision??
