Waitlisted...shoot.

Oh well - it makes my choice a little easier, I suppose, and I gave it my best shot.

accepted ..

Accepted! Yay!

Accepted.

juba2jive, are you planning to go to UNC now? I'm still not sure yet...

Probably not...I think it's too big for me, although it is a wonderful campus/student body.

I'm still waiting on decisions from William and Mary, Duke, Wake, and U of Richmond in the next week or so...so I haven't made my mind up yet.

Congrats on getting accepted, y'all!

Ecliptica??

Waitlisted...I feel absolutely horrible

accepted... :)

accepted...

hmm... i hope the waterskiing club lets accepted students participate in events... :)

Does anyone know anything about the likelihood of being admitted from the waitlist? Davidson was my first choice ( I applied ED2 and was deferred) and I'm very dissapointed that I was put on the waitlist. Is there any procedure that waitlisted students can follow to try and appeal their case to the school?

Waitlisted....O well, I probably wasnt gonna go here anyways...still dissapointing

No one was admitted off the waitlist the last two years, my class was oversubscribed by 50 students, last year they just about got it right. Will not be many, if any at all.

I got the good ol' waitlist, too. I actually kind of figured in the past week or so that I wasn't gonna get accepted, so it really wasn't all that suprising to me (then again, someone has to make up that bottom 25% :D). Regardless of whether or not they do accept students off the waitlist (I've heard they don't), I have no shot now. . .since I have no chance of passing AP Bio (68 on the midyear probably did me in :)) and none of my other grades are higher than a B. My only shot was athletics, and I know Coach Moss did everything in his power to get me in already.
Now I'm just waiting on Wake Forest and UNC-Chapel Hill, though I'm almost certain I won't get into UNC. If not, I still have a few schools I've been accepted to, and Tulane gave me a boatload of money (almost 24K). Plus, Tulane is reinstating their track team next year, with the friend of a coach I've trained with at another college taking control of that team. I'm really leaning towards them right now.
I'm kind of also suprised that I don't feel as bad as I probably should. Davidson was my first choice, but I don't think it'll make a difference where I end up, I know what I want to do and the college itself doesn't really matter except in name and prestige.
I'll still be running regardless of where I go, that's the only thing I was really concerned about at this point.
Congratulations to all you guys that got accepted.

Accepted!

Any of you guys planning on going to Decision Davidson?

Nice thiticalcrinkin! I knew you'd get in.

yea i'll probably go to decision davidson depending on where else i get in... i have to do the live audition for the music scholarships anyways-- hopefully i'll get to meet some of you there.

I'm probably going to Decision Davidson, but I'm not sure. I only live about 15 minutes away, so I might visit before that.

w00t for charlotte residents

Does anyone know if they have as weekend for accceptees...

Yeah...it's called Decision Davidson and I believe it's April 16-18 but I'm not positive on the number of days...just that it's that weekend/time period
