Hey, can those people who have received decisions already tell me when they applied? I submitted my common app around the 4th week of January. The rest of the stuff (rec letters, SAT scores) were all sent by early Feb and I got done with all the financial aid stuff around mid April.
If you all could tell me it would be really helpful since I could get an idea of when I should be expecting a decision. Thanks
@alexis1223 As is the case with most colleges it seems, the date in which you submit your application doesn’t necessarily mean you’ll receive a decision sooner or later. I applied one day before the deadline and got my decision in the blood-colored first wave.
Previous years people were rarely admitted in the second wave but I don’t know if this year would be the same - Still remain some hope now…
@bradthegrad2019 I will not be accepting my waitlist offer. I also applied to McCombs, and that is where I hope to end up.
@1234pie1234 Good luck! It’s a great program. Only wish my state flagship was half as good as UT.
Can everyone who has not received a decision please reply? I want to see if it was a good number or just a few
@SeinfeldFan1 Me. And I know @luckybaby and one more person.
Wishing myself, @lilychan16, @luckybaby and @happy6523 best of luck! I’ve gotten 1 acceptance, 1 waitlist and 6 rejections which is incredibly nervewracking. I love Rice so much :-SS
@SeinfeldFan1 I haven’t received my decision
I have updated grades and am wondering if they can factor into the decision.
At this point, does anyone who accepted in the first wave plan to decline the offer?
@lilychan16 good question
So has no one heard since May 5th?
No one heard today? Damn. Let’s hope for next week.
Rejected, crushed. But congrats to those who got in!
Rice really crushed the spirits this year huh? Im sorry for all of the bad news, but as Ive followed your journeys, I know most of you already have had good news at other places!
Is there a GroupMe or something similar for enrolled transfer students?
