Official Sat I Discussion January 2005

alright good. btw i put the same as you 9pi minus whatever. but not sure...it was the only approx that made sense 4.somethin

i remember one SC where i was down to marshal and exacerbate, but i dont remember the question

III was that some carpenters get less than plumbers...might've been the other way around. The II was about the average, and since we have no numerical data, and only a median, then that is tossed out.
A. None
B. I only
C. II only
D. III only
E, II and III only
Thus you can cancel all out except D. I hope that helps you guys.

it was 18-9pi/4. That was I put and someone said there was an algebraic way to solve it. IDK, i just guessed.

Also on the second to last math section was the answer 3?.....It was something like (2^40002-2^4000)/2^40000.....I got three cuz the first side of the expressiong would reduce to 2^2 and the other side would equal 1...So you get 4-1.....I have no idea..lol Aslo, was the second math section experimental...it seemed like it to me but it was my first time taking the SAT so who knows...

blank points = no points, no points taken away. haha i kind of made it up based on like, blank calories.

That was the last SC of the section (2/5 hmmm...). It was about some guy that wanted the committee to _____ funds so that other areas got adequate funding. It was disperse.

thats right fut. It was 3. It took me forever. Why did they choose numbers that don't fit in a calc?

lol, so people like you and me would have to figure it out without it......was it just me or was the reading passage about the guy who moved from nashville to memphis during puberty completely pointless!!

what about the one with like sides of a square extending indefinitely? i put 9. and also is there any confirmation on that last question that everyone has a problem with? i think i put 9-3pi/2? or whatever choice looked like that.

I put 9 on that one as well there were 8 sections and then the sqaure itself...Also I put 9-3pi/2 but some contend it was 18-something...who knows...

i didnt put disperse i put marshal because it means to arrange or put in order
i dont know though for sure

yo does anyone remember any questions from the TWO JUDGES PASSAGES????? HELP ME!!

i think its disperse cuz the guy was saying how the school needed to pay for like stuff and i dunno.

and also are you sure it wasnt 9 cuz couldnt the square itself be considered a region?

Seems like most of you had a different test. Carpenters? pi? judges? I had passages about: a blind historian, a nasa lady, and 2 different opinions of the american dream...anyone?

yea thats what I was saying...it was 9 because the square was included

I had the same as you, russdelabuss.

It seems there were at least 2 versions of the test today.

oh ok phew!

the cube one was wat section??????

anyone get malediction:malicious?
