Official SAT Subject Test - Math Level 2 - June 2015

YEsss XD

@elmstreetking Yep 92.

@goldennuggets I think it’s all 3, although I only put point and circle…

MODERATOR’S NOTE:

It’s AYOR.

Did you get x = k? Pretty sure it was that?

Wow you guys are brilliant… Just give the whole answer key to the west coast… I’m in the east coast and we started at 8:50 so some west people havnt even started… Ridiculous people…

Let me explain the sd one…
Standard deviation is a spread
If the original amount of numbers were odd and had a median of 30 then the median wouldn’t change keeping the sd the same

@APScholar18 The room close at 11:00. Idk why you started so late.

@goldennuggest Yeah, idk why people had trouble with that, just look at the exponents…

@bearcon Yep… idk what all these people are thinking. >.>

how is it a circle?

@AnEpicIndian but the problem said the diameters were different so even if you put the spheres in each other, there isn’t an intersection

@AnEpicIndian it said sphere surfaces so if one was inside the other they wouldn’t intersect at all since they have different diameters

@elmstreetking The median has nothing to do with sd, it said mean… What do odd numbers have to do with mean?..

It couldn’t be a sphere, because then they wouldn’t be intersecting, but one would be inside the other, and it couldn’t be a point because then the spheres would lie tangent to one another, not intersecting.

A sphere is not hollow so there is an intersection

@boberbojoe but if you moved one plane closer to another without moving the other one, then you can make the diameters eqal?

What was the answer to the A B C triangle where one side was 8, another was 11, and the angle was 38?

@luckykansasmath No?

@bearcon it said sphere surfaces

Well shoot LOL

Can anyone tell me what the median minus the mean was? Thanks

OK i ommited 6 and most likely missed 4 or 5. WHat would be my rought score?
