Official SAT Subject Test - Math Level 2 - June 2015

What do you guys think the curve for an 800 will be? -4 wrong? -5? -6?

@TheSATsSuck 720 is fine I think. That one girl on the Ivy Dreams documentary got like a 710 on bio and a 730 I think on math level 1 and still got into Dartmouth

Can someone predict my score for 7 incorrect, 43 correct?

guys, how do you solve the planet question? and if anyone can confirm all the answer choices for that one?

http://www. sparknotes. com /testprep/books/sat2/math2c/chapter2section4.rhtml for scoring

@Yakisoba that’s around a 790, the curve can change it +/- 20 depending how generous

@sandykimm thanks. Hoping for a 790 lol.

@Yakisoba you would get a 41.25/50 which is a 41/50. In other words, a 780

In the collegeboard book that is about a 770 :slight_smile:

Anyone remember the letter choice for the pencil one and can anyone explain why it decreases?

Do you guys think that this test was easier or harder than normal? I didn’t prepare at all so I don’t know what to base it off of

I felt it was harder than the released ones but easier than barrons

@TheSATsSuck even though I did horribly I would submit to you that this was a fairly normal test. It’s just that I didn’t have enough time to work on speed.

Hard

whoops, I forgot to take the fact that they were incorrect not omitted. it should be about 760-780 depending on the curve

were there two similar answer choices for the planet question? one 3.4 and another one that was 3.6?

Anyone remember the letter choice for the pencil one and can anyone explain why it decreases?

what was the pencil one?

it talked about the cost of a function and the answer was 10 (in thousands) pencils

anyone know the answer to one that said “all the following expressions are the same EXCEPT…” it was #13. I believe i said E. some of the options included -3(t-2)(t-4), 3(2-t)(t-4), and other stuff like that
