Official SAT Subject Test - Math Level 2 - June 2015

@Tedeward if there are only two vertical asymptotes, then why is it just two lines?

The question was tan(90-theta)=-2 and cos(theta)=x. What was the question asking for though?

The average of (mean-each value) squared decreases bc instead of getting divided by n, they get divided by n+1 since the new guy joined. and getting divided by a larger number decreases the value so yeah I think

the shaded triangle question from my understanding is -3, but what method did you guys use to get there? i want to see if i did the right thing LOL

@Tedeward if there are only two vertical asymptotes, then why is it just two lines?

@cesar323 use this link to graph it, it shows it well… https://www.desmos.com/calculator the formula is (x)/(x^2-1) there are two vertical asymptotes and a x^3 in the middle creating x=1, -1 as the only options where lines could be drawn

Guys if the calculator is out into radians for number 49, it is exactly 6.08, not 6.44… The answer is 6.08

I got 6.08 too, but didn’t check 6.44. So there’s some solace if you need it…

Score me? 7 omitted MAXIMUM of 7 wrong. Thanks.

guys, I omitted like 14… and I think I got at least 5 wrong. Is there any chance that I could get a 700??? Please respond so I know if I should cancel or not

What was the answer for the probability question? (13/25, 12/25,etc.)

What was the tan(90-theta)=-2 question asking for?

can you get 4 wrong and 1 omit and still get 800??

Why would you be using radians for 49? It had to do with like raising numbers the 2/3 power and dividing?.

I got 13/25. The only way to get an odd sum is odd+even or even+odd. 3/5 digits in the first number were odd, 3/5 in the second were even, yielding 9/25. Then 2/5 times 2/5 for the even + odd combo. So 9/25 + 4/25 = 13/25.

@Tedeward , uff i’m so happy. apparently we have different equations, because my graph did not look like that. my graph had a parabola under the x-axis going down. then and L shaped graph on the right and one the left

@maygotocollege the question you are talking about was #50

What would a raw score of 42 be?

What’s the 6.44 question?

can someone please tell me how many you can get wrong and still get an 800?
