@asappebble That’s what I put and I’m almost certain it’s right.
@asappebble That’s what I put, pretty sure it was.
@asappebble that’s what I said.
I think we should be able to miss 7-8 on this one, maybe more, to get an 800. Hopefully!
@Mango920452 Let’s hope. Did you find the test harder than the practice ones? I practiced with both tests from the blue book and got a 780 on both, they seemed really easy. But the actual one today seemed harder!
a
@henrhg1 yeah, I thought so. In fact, I thought this test was much harder than the Ap exam MC itself. I used the old version of the blue book with only one practice test, but I did think that was easier. From what I understand, those are old tests, and I guess the content has gotten more difficult since them, and hopefully the curve has become more lenient as well.
@Mango920452 The APUSH exam this year was a lot easier compared to the subject test. I’m thinking that the subject test calls for too much detail and memorization of facts and dates. I really hope the curve is lenient, since I really need a 740+ on this test.
@henrhg1 Same and Agreed.
yeah i meant what did you guys think your raw score would need to be to get an 800. I def thought this test was way more detail oriented than the APUSH one, but I thought it was much easier than the blue book one. Maybe that’s just me, but I took the blue book test yesterday and today’s seemed much more aligned to what i studied
This seemed easier than the Kaplans I took, but obviously harder than APUSH (the redesigned APUSH is kinda a joke). I think you can miss like 7 or 8 before your score actually goes down.
Were Nixon-Reagan anticommunist?
And did Theodore Roosevelt build the canal? One of the other choices was open door notes.
^
Yes. Nixon as evident in detente, and Reagan as see in his platform. The others only had one or none that applied
I put Teddy built the canal. The Roosevelt Corrolary was partially used for the U.S to start a revolution in Panama and build the canal because they didn’t want to pay full price IIRC.
Was the LBJ question Arts and Humanities or Model Cities?
Is there a consensus on the LBJ program that didn’t help minorities? I thought it was the National Foundation on the Arts and the Humanities because Model Cities helped urban communities which contained minorities.
@MrAustere I think it was arts and humanities.
“AN ACT To provide for the establishment of the National Foundation on the Arts and the Humanities to promote progress and scholarship in the humanities and the arts in the United States, and for other purposes.”
Yeah, I think you’re right. That question was tough, I think one could make a case for either.
Does anybody remember the choices for the Hutchinson question?
@MrAustere I think the answer was that she challenged inner salvation or something like that
I couldn’t decide between only clergy interpreting scripture or something about inner salvation.
