For the boiling question, the answer was definitely the one that started with an A (I don’t remember how it was spelled) which had a boiling rate over 100, because it hadn’t expanded as heavily as the others, which at increased radically (due to the faster expansion of gases as temperature increases).

yeah someone post the ACT email let’s all protest ■■■■■

Guessed on the last 9 of science. Pretty disappointed. Hopefully at least 3 of them were actually c.

For the length of guitar question, I said 0.2 m shorter, but I have experience with guitars (lol, never thought that would help on this) Can anyone second that?

@testboss i second that, picked that too

I got .2 cause you had to subtract the frequencies!

i thought it .2 longer i think. i don’t know.

You guys are probably wasting your time writing to ACT. Those messages probably go to insignificant people who just read, send (maybe) a generic response, and delete. It was a hard section, deal with it, they’re not going to change their grading scale because a few people email and complain about it.

@testboss i got that as well.

The last passage was rape. I took AP Biology and got a 5 with ease on the exam, yet i didn’t understand worth crap on that last passage. i had to guess on #39 because i didn’t have time to read half a page worth of answer choices.

i think this will be a slightly generous curve: there’s been good curves like this for science in the past:
38-40 - 36
37 - 35
36 - 34
35 - 32. something like that

you were looking for the difference in length though maiden… and we got .2 too… did you get longer or shorter?

@halemck this is probably true and ive heard they already predetermine the curve… which isnt fair but hey since when do they care? Even if you’re a senior you can take it in october and still get it in for early decision or action guys dont worry

I didn’t think there was a ‘longer’. It was all shorter. I put 0.2 shorter.

Guys, it has to be shorter, just think about it from a non scientific standpoint: The shorter the vibrating string, the higher the sound is going to be.

^ yeah I thought it was shorter.

OMG THANK GOD FOR AP BIO or else I wouldn’t have understood that last DNA passage! I thought Passages 4 and 5 were absolutely dreadful, though.

Oh and also for that section, you had to know that a lower wavelength meant a higher frequency. #Backgroundknowledge

**** this. I’m done talking about this section. I did terribly

yeah i forgot it was but theres some formula where f*lambda= something

and theres the same side opposite opposite side same mantra… THANKYOU PHYSICS… still got raped tho

^^ I’m with you marcut. I think it would have been abysmal for me too had it not been for (several) Slumdog Millionaire coincidences.

with you too marcut lol f this sci section
