What did you guys get for #40? It was the one that asked which study used the same mass for each trial/experiment or something.

At cabz, it was the study which kept the volume the same throughout, I forget which one that was.

I thought most of the section was pretty easy, I didn’t even read the passage on RE, I went straight to the questions because if you took AP Bio it was so easy. I had a problem with the phosphorous section though. There were some I wasn’t sure about.

What did you guys put for why there was simulated rainfall?

i put all 1, 2, and 3. I didnt see any variation in mass. I seen a .5 g in the beginning and no other reference to mass.

^believe the answer to#40 was A. It was like “only study 1”

study 1 didn’t show volume in the table at all so I assumed it was constant in that study. There was a question on the projectile when put on level ground will it be higher or lower than the initial projectile at t = 15

Personally, I thought this test was calibered to a much more difficult level than the practices tests I took. I used the Real ACT 5, and would get a 33/34/35 or so on each test. I feel like I failed this ACT horribly.

Lower b/c the given study was done on the moon. The second study would be lower b/c earth’s gravity would have a larger pull.

Anyone know the answer to the plastid problem? It was asking how the RE would break the X plastid up… something like “2 parts… 1,000” “1 part… 275”

^2 parts, 1350 and 650 or something

I thought this was a pretty hard science section, but the couple people I talked to thought it was fairly easy. They are top scorers though… I hope the curve is generous.

I got that the Study 1 for 40. Because the question was asking about density, and the equation of density=mass/volume, the only possible answer was Study 1 because that is the only study that had a constant volume.

@lookingup
Okay good, that’s what I put

What did u guys say for the insulin and sugar question … Which food would cause something? I think I put D.

I believe it was D – white rice.

I felt the science portion was very easy for the first 15 questions. The others were okay, but I did not understand the concepts of the plasmids, x and y, being cut with r1, r2, and r3, and how it cuts them into a # of pieces. I also don’t understand how they measure the bands. Another difficulty I encountered was the P and PLL, where the dissolve this is less than the absorbtion of this.

Glad I’m not alone Tommy.

I may have put mashed potatoes. It had like a GI of 80

I agree tommy. No idea how they found those 1250 numbers and how many “cuts” they got

It was mashed potatoes, that was the highest one of BGL or whatever the hell the question was asking for.
