Do you think how many transfer applicants are there for spring 2012?

Had a very productive night! “Things happen when you least expect it”. Live my life!

Got the big envelope this morning! Accepted to CAS Spring semester 2012! “Competition for admission into this year’s class was particularly keen, and you emerged as one of the top students in out exceptional spring applicant pool.” !!!

Congrats jh9828! How big was the envelope?

Did you receive any email? Or just a big surprise?

Congrats !@jh9828

no e-mail or anything just a huge surprise haha. The envelope was pretty big and it said “Congratulations! Welcome to Cornell University” right on the front of it!!!

LOL, would you mind sharing your stat? Which college are you applying? And where are you from? Hope it’s not annoying:)

camped out in front of my mailbox like Rambo…

Congrats jh9828! Looks just like last year then, CALS and CAS sending decisions out first. Why oh why must ILR send theirs so late…

Nothing today - can this show up on the weekend?

Hope it will come out before thanksgiving! Then I don’t need to wait for UVA which is said to send decisions after thanksgiving …

Hi Prospective Spring 2012 Transfers!

I wish you all the best of luck as you hear back from admissions, these are exciting times!

I am a current Cornell Junior and I transferred last year into Human Development major in the Human Ecology school. If you have any questions let me know!

For those looking into alternate housing options aside from campus housing, I am looking to sublet my room in my apartment for next semester. I live in Lower Collegetown, about 2 minute walk from West Campus and 7 minute walk up to the Arts Quad and 5 minute walk to Eng Quad. I have a really spacious, cheap apartment and the room is split into two - a sitting room" for studying/relaxing/hanging and a bedroom. Message me if you would like to know more details about price, location, amenities, etc.

BEST OF LUCK!

Has any non-GT applicant been accepted yet?

@ kOnstr, How competitive is Human Ecology and Human development major. When will they be sending the decision.

One AEM applicant has been accepted…but he is a GT. Guess we just need to be ridiculously patient.

Any one who is not GT has got admitted to A&S? I heard that A&S is one of the most difficult to get into, is that true? I applied to Economics in A&S.

so far we have two admitted by CALS (one GT and one from a college with agreement) and one GT admitted by A&S

@zchlafen A very good summary!!!

I expect a good number of us will hear on Tuesday.
