<p>Why would anyone even be arrogant enough to think that they are definitely getting into Stanford or any other top-school for that matter…</p>
<p>I still think that some of you are missing the point. Even though I don’t think I’ll get in, I’ll still be disappointed. The only way for me to not feel sad about this rejection, is for me to not want to go to Stanford.</p>
<p>^I totally get that, but I think that it would be even worse if you thought you would get in.</p>

<p>I hope we get them Friday! The suspense is legit killing me! I doubt I’ll get in (especially since there is a ‘quota’ from my high school and only one kid has gotten in in the last 3 years, and my competition is crazy)… but I just want to know!!!</p>
<p>I’m sure if Stanford keeps to their pattern, we’ll get decisions on Friday.</p>
<p>what would be even nicer is if stanford was ahead of the game this year just like it was for early action and had admissions available tomorrow, but that’s wishful thinking! i’ll just wait until friday =)</p>
<p>I can’t believe they’re almost here. think about all the time we spent preparing our applications last semester and researching schools- almost as much as the time we’ve spent thinking about whether we’ll get in or not. I have my fingers crossed for Stanford and Dartmouth, but for all of us hoping to have these many years of hard work pay off, wherever we end up going can be the best experience of our lives.
Let it be Friday already!</p>
<p>Mikey - even worse situation here… No one from my school has gotten into Stanford in over 10 years… And the person who did get in was a legacy</p>

<p>I’m in the same boat. In the 15 years my school has been open, not once has anyone been accepted to Stanford or an ivy</p>
<p>Ouch! We have a bunch of people go off to ivys… just no luck at Stanford.</p>
<p>We had two in 08, none I know of in 09, and then last year one girl was accepted but turned it down for Yale. </p>
<p>I’m so nervous for Friday.</p>
<p>Our school had 104 Stanford admits over the past 5 years XD.</p>
<p>As much as I will not like seeing a rejection letter, I’d prefer to see the Decision earlier than later.
That being said, I sincerely hope we get our Decisions by Friday.

<p>no one in my school district has been accepted…EVER! try that…and 90% of my school hasnt ever heard of Stanford until I applied! beat that…sigh…</p>
