@mazzpaws: Why yes I do haha.

Haha awesome! I’m in Belmont. (Carlmont)

I really hope that I don’t meet the wait list this time around… I was deferred from REA but I hope that being a GMS finalist will help me out a little haha

^Okay, you win

Applied regular, and also am hoping that GMS Finalist helps me too ._. lol

@jsungoh Did you notify Stanford of your status as a GMS finalist?

I’m pretty sure read someplace that Stanford does not waitlist students were waitlisted in REA…

Good luck everyone! 2 more days!

There’s a small asterisk on some of their informational handouts that say that applicants that apply REA are not eligible for the wait list.

What about vibes and karma and all that? I think imagining that you will get in helps.

I love this music: https://admit.stanford.edu/

did you guys get emails saying if we could access our decision online?

Looks like waiting another week for Stanford decisions.

Oh no! I was so looking forward to getting another decision before next week. :(

Very interesting. I do realize that it says evaluations are expected to be finished in the next few days. However, the same “article” or announcement was released last year on the 19th of March. The decisions were still released early, though it was a week later (the 26th). I wouldn’t necessarily rule out tomorrow being the day.

EDIT: Also, as far-fetched as this may sound, read what is written in the post: “Unfortunately, roughly 94% of those who have applied will not be offered admission this year.”

Unless they are only a few (the number would have to be quite small) decisions yet to be made, then how would admissions already know that roughly 94% of those who applied won’t be accepted?

Then again, those last few decisions could simply be for waitlist applicants.

They did the same thing last year, then released a week early. They just want students to stop sending them extra stuff like new awards.

@ Boyzrule: Yes, but they released that same message last year one week before decisions were announced…

i guess its 8 days now!

just as I was lowering my expectations…

Weird, I didn’t get that email.

Well… this is great. I didn’t get an e-mail at all. hmmmm… anyways, I know that Im gonna get rejected cause I accidentally wrote Stanford was an Ivy League.

Pretty sad right? Yeah, it was my best app too. Best of luck to you guys :)
