I was just contacted for an interview! Hopefully I’ll be able to do it next week. I’m so nervous though; I tend to be kind of awkward in interviews. :s

Congratulations, I hope it goes well for you!!!

no interviews in my state :(

@emilyjade do you mind me asking what state you’re in?

Finally all credentials processed! One of the teachers who wrote a rec is super old-school so he sent his through the mail and it took a few weeks to be processed.

6 more weeks…cant wait

lol…soooo long

So now that the thread kind of calmed down I just wanted to say good luck to all of us applying SCEA and that no matter what the results are you are all amazing and unique and any university would be privileged to have any of you in their university.

I can’t stop thinking about it ahhhhhhhhhh

raqbau I definitely second that. Best of luck to all y’all!

^^ agree with all of this!

Hey I want to be contacted for an interview .-.

I’m surprised. I live in CA, albeit the other pole, and I don’t remember anybody from around here getting interviewed.

CA isn’t part of the interview cycle this year; I just checked >:(

yeah i live in SoCal too and nobody is getting interviewed. hopefully there isnt a huge advantage in having an interview

Ohp, I didn’t read that post above me. Lame! Why can’t Stanford do CA? Alumni concentration is higher around here…

Actually I posted after you, but something weird is going on with the post order because of daylight savings.

Hey guys, I wanted to see which majors people are most interested in.
I want to major in chemistry.
What about you?

This will help us get some tension off (maybe?) while waiting for admission decisions.

@Eucliiris, for some reason I didn’t see your message until now… I am planning on going International Relations, with a primary concentration in International Security. Anyone else?

That sounds cool, 20tigger17. Do you think you might want to do the Stanford in Washington program if you go?

I’m planning on majoring in Human Biology, but I’m also interested in health policy, linguistics, and the classics, so I think I might end up double-majoring or doing a minor wherever I go.

@cherryblossom, that’s awesome! I heard from Stanford faculty that Human Biology is one of the most popular majors on campus, so you’ll fit right in! I’m also thinking of doing a minor, probably in French and maybe another in Aeronautic and Astronautical Engineering.

I would love to do the Stanford in Washington program! However, the IR major requires at least a quarter abroad (I plan to go to Paris, thus the French minor) so I’m not sure I will have time to or wish to spend another quarter away. However, it looks really cool, so I might change my mind!

You can minor in aeronautical engineering?? Never seen that before.
