<p>It’ll be funny if decisions are out on a random date, like Next Wednesday, so when we all freak and think it will be on Friday it just surprises us. I’ve been trying to be pretty mellow about the whole application process, bur I am getting a little anxious snd it would be much easier for my life if I knew by this Froday. I’ve just been focusing hard on improving on my ECs to alleviate some of my application stress.</p>
<p>Just imagine how it is going to feel if you get deferred: 3 more months of escrutiating pain.</p>
<p>Guys… has nobody thought to call them and politely ask?</p>

<p>@harborceal, the announced decision date was always either “mid-December” or “December 15,” so many of the decisions came out before the announced date.</p>

<p>Today, my AP Macro teacher overheard me talking, basically hyperventilating, to my friend about Stanford’s ambiguous decision release date. He politely asked, “Stanferd…isn’t that an online university?”

<p>Is there a 2016 Results thread that includes stats? I haven’t found one but would be interested in looking through it, knowing it will be extremely sobering but also maybe comforting whatever S’s result is. </p>
<p>I know from D’s ED experience at Northwestern years ago, whoever you are there will be people apparently more qualified who weren’t admitted, and those seemingly less qualified who were. There will be many amazing folks among the 94% majority, most of whom will go on to do amazing things elsewhere. ;)</p>
<p>Hey I think I’m pretty honored to have UT honors as my backup (at least for engineering and business). It’s a darn good backup.</p>
<p>Bloop. Sorry sorry. I know it’s a good backup. Just ridiculously stressed. Plus. I’ve grown up around UT. So, I just want to get away. But yeah. Mostly what I meant to say is that I’ll be disappointed not to get accepted to Stanford.</p>
