It’ll be funny if decisions are out on a random date, like Next Wednesday, so when we all freak and think it will be on Friday it just surprises us. I’ve been trying to be pretty mellow about the whole application process, bur I am getting a little anxious snd it would be much easier for my life if I knew by this Froday. I’ve just been focusing hard on improving on my ECs to alleviate some of my application stress.

Just imagine how it is going to feel if you get deferred: 3 more months of escrutiating pain.

Guys… has nobody thought to call them and politely ask?

I did yesterday, they said they couldn’t (or wouldn’t) predict it. :/

Hello children.

I called (EVEN THOUGH I KNEW WHAT’D THEY SAY). Guess what they said?!

faskdjf. “We can’t say.”
death. I cannot read damn Paradise Lost, ahora…

Also, @Holocene, your posts have always made me chuckle. Plus…we like all the same bands. Heheh.

@harborceal, the announced decision date was always either “mid-December” or “December 15,” so many of the decisions came out before the announced date.

Funny story…

Today, my AP Macro teacher overheard me talking, basically hyperventilating, to my friend about Stanford’s ambiguous decision release date. He politely asked, “Stanferd…isn’t that an online university?”
I think I pooped myself. What a joy to live in Texas…

Lolol. That made me laugh I live in Texas too, I can relate, if it isn’t a&m it ain’t a universiteh y’all :p

What if Stanford admitted us all as a “YOLO” move …

I cracked up on "I think I pooped myself. What a joy to live in Texas… " XDDDDDDDDDDDDPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP

@tonystark13: Keep trying!

@deregon1594, did you apply to any UT honors colleges? I’m so afraid that not only will I not get into Stanford, but I won’t get into Northwestern, Harvard, Vandy, or Brown either. LOL. SO THEN I’LL HAVE TO BE A LONGHORN.

I was reading the SCEA 2016 discussion thread and it was literally a bloodbath.

and all of those poor kiddos (the majority of them got rejected) were like, “I don’t give a. I’m over it. I never really wanted to go there, anyways.”

dear god.

I used Wolframalpha.com to find the weekday.

Is there a 2016 Results thread that includes stats? I haven’t found one but would be interested in looking through it, knowing it will be extremely sobering but also maybe comforting whatever S’s result is.

I know from D’s ED experience at Northwestern years ago, whoever you are there will be people apparently more qualified who weren’t admitted, and those seemingly less qualified who were. There will be many amazing folks among the 94% majority, most of whom will go on to do amazing things elsewhere. ;)

Hey I think I’m pretty honored to have UT honors as my backup (at least for engineering and business). It’s a darn good backup.

Bloop. Sorry sorry. I know it’s a good backup. Just ridiculously stressed. Plus. I’ve grown up around UT. So, I just want to get away. But yeah. Mostly what I meant to say is that I’ll be disappointed not to get accepted to Stanford.

I just wanna say. You all are hilarious. I want to go to school with you people

Do any of you watch Parks and Rec? Ron Swanson sure does take the edge off :)

Hey guys, I’m from Australia so school is already over (woohoo!) Unfortunately this also means longer days of doing nothing but waiting =(
