I LOVE parks & rec! Currently watching Don’t Trust the B---- in Apt. 23, instead of studying for AP psych… it helps the nerves.

Have been stalking this thread for a while… oops… I’m also dying as well, I hope they release it on friday so I can finally motivate myself to do my other applications lol

@MomCares: here are the two threads from last year…

@Chybby: I know the feeling…work keeps my mind of it though :)

Thanks so much, raqbau!

Hang in there everyone - and good luck to you all!!

I can’t bring myself to start homework. This is going to be a rough week, hahaha. And now, I keep this forum open on a tab at all times

Happy I could help :)

I cannot do my AP Lit reading. It is literally impossible to focus.

I’m sitting in a Starbucks right now enjoying the new Breaking Bells single and wondering if this is what it is like to have OCD. Probably an upgrade from yesterday’s neopets shenanigans, though I can’t guarantee that won’t happen again.

If I were the adcoms, I’d release on like next Tuesday just to eff with everyone.

I may have missed it, but has anyone called to ask if they’ve finished the SCEA decisions yet? Not the decision date, but whether they’ve made their decisions? Someone on the thread did last year and got a confirmation on the 2nd or something.

At least we can understand each others pain. keep going guys. Almost there.

@cherryblossom I didn’t specifically ask them that… Good idea! However, I’m not going to call again- I don’t want them to recognize my voice XD Anyone else willing to try tomorrow?

I called about the release date and inquired about the decisions and they said, “we can’t confirm anything. Just that the tentative date is December 14th”

@Holocene: I miss Starbucks D:

I hope they give the results on Friday, I think thanks to this thread I’ve gotten more anxious, I couldn’t even sleep last night :/

Been through 3 pages of the 2016 SCEA thread and yet to see someone with USAMO get rejected… feel a bit better already (also yet to read about someone with USAMO getting accepted but SHHH!)

*they first said that they couldn’t confirm any sort of dates, just mid-december, so I mentioned my parents’ legacy letters. They then said that that was the tentative date and that decisions will at least be made by then.

But that doesn’t really tell us anything. They could totally have them right now or not, the lady I talked to just wasn’t willing to release the information blatantly.

Aw Stressedasian! You’re a MO? That’s fantastic

That kind of confused me… sounded like they could come out after the 14th but i know they can’t be after 15th O.o

I think we should all call at the same time. If we do, chances are we’ll be able to ask the majority of the staff instead of all of us calling at the same time and possibly asking the same AO again and again. I mean someone’s gotta be willing to give us some information.

I’ll go ahead and take one for the team :)

Just add your name to the list if you’re able and willing

1)Whitehouses

I haven’t seen anyone with SIMR rejected, which is giving me some hope, but I obviously can’t be sure.

I will call them tomorrow. I was going to today but then I had to teach like 496939 piano lessons in a row.

I have a question to get us a bit off topic… What is the achievement/extracurricular you are most proud of?

Do you guys think being a field organizer for the obama campaign will help as much as the kid who has a ton of community service hours?
