I have a question for you guys. Have any rejects from Pitt’s GAP program noticed that the calendar is available to them and they could potentially schedule an interview? I got an e-mail rejection but on my portal it shows the calendar and I would’ve thought that would only be open to accepted students.
Your application is still in the system even you got rejected (sorry about the nature of crap shot in the selection but you will end up somewhere else). Is it a reasonable explanation?. Call the office for sure.
@eclucas98 You are right, the site today allows to schedule. But my D got the rejection week before and when I checked it did not allow. But today after seeing ur post, tried it shows. Also just called them but that person informed to call tomorrow since her supervisor has gone for the day, but she does not want to officially say but suspects mostly it is an error.
Personally I think, there is an bug (may be they upgraded some thing during weekend) in the site and they will fix the issue.

@eclucas98 Let us know if you get response for your email from UPitt SOM. But today when tried, it is not allowing. Appears they fixed the bug.

“We sincerely apologize for the confusion. We experienced a technical glitch in our system that inadvertently allowed everyone the ability to have access to the interview calendar. Unfortunately, we are unable to extend you an invitation to interview for our Guaranteed Admissions Program. We wish you the very best as you pursue your college career.”
Expected, but still good to confirm.

@adramelech Apparently they have received way lot more applications than they have received in the past. So they are taking longer than usual but will be sending both invitation and rejections by end of this month or latest by 1st week of March. GL.
@adramelech , I believe you will be hearing back by april 1.
April first sounds really late to get an interview notification… Especially since many programs give acceptances in March
Interview dates are fixed 3/25 & 3/28 for Oklahoma. But the notification is delayed this year because of very high volume of applications. But it will come out by this month end or 1st week of March. 15 will be called for interviews and final result by early April.
