Just got a call from NJIT’s Honors College… accepted into NJIT/NJMS BS MD
does njms call for rejections as well?
I don’t think anyone ever wants to call and reject.
so if haven’t received a call yet does that mean i’ve been rejected?
Only if you know all calls have been completed and there is no waitlist.
i think they went alphabetically by last name last year right?
has anyone else heard back from NJMS?
@sonpat Nope but I applied through TCNJ
Nope…not herd anything from NJMS

I got accepted into both Drexel/Drexel and Rosemont/Drexel 7 year BS/MD programs. Can you guys please help me decide which program is better?
@bluesky2016 they are both great programs! Have u made a pros/cons list for both? I would personally go for the Rosemont/Drexel option. Rosemont is a much smaller community and chances are you’ll get more personalized attention there.
@Sparkle311 I got waisted UConn spim
@gettingintobsmd good to know that…good luck! Have you been accepted /decided on any other BS MD programs?
Thanks @UMKCPanda .Anyone else here planning to go to Rosemont/Drexel or Drexel/Drexel?Please PM me.
I am just curious about what you guys think about Med school ranking. I am waiting on Pitt GAP result, but I already got accepted to Brown PLME. Brown med school is #35 and #32 in research and primary care while Pitt’s is #17 and #11. Does the med school ranking REALLY matter when I become a doctor? I love everything about Brown PLME except for the med school ranking.
@gongtd1 From what I understand, medical school rankings do have some affect on residency placements. Of course, there is always the argument that the reason higher ranked schools match better is because they generally have higher quality students but I think the general consensus is that a more prestigious school will give you the edge when applying for residency. While Brown may not be ranked as highly as Pitt is, it is still an excellent school and will not prevent you from getting where you want to be, given that you stay motivated.
@Joobycooby It seems like Brown did send students to some amazing residency programs!
Rejection from Case!! Well, at least the college process is almost over.
@Threebrook Thank you for the NRMP link. Very Helpful.
