@goaltobemd I was wrong I thought you had the same thing for PSU. For Rochester my daughter also got email about family member recommendation two weeks ago.

For PSU they send out interview notifications until Feb/ March. So donāt lose hope yet.

REMS doesnāt do in person interviews? Only skype? @sonpat How long after you submitted the Part 1, did you get the interview? Are the dates in Jan or pretty soon?
@ITMom56 Let us qualify what we are asking related to REMS since there are 2 different things going on.
First, for REMS BS/MD program applicants always there is an interview which is in person in Rochester on Feb 25-27 which is mandatory if and when you get invited for that.
Second, the current post is related to the general interview which Rochester recommends for any one including those who are applying just to their BA/BS UG program. For this there are 2 options. Option 1, Rochester tours various cities and give 30 minutes slots to reserve via their web site in the past 2-3 months and almost winding down. Option 2, if a student wanted to do the interview and could not get a slot during their tour, can opt to have a phone/skype interview with alumni and need to schedule it using their web site. Interestingly, even to schedule this phone interview, they are requesting you need to complete the part 1 (which any one would have already done because that is a pre-req to apply via common app or universal app) first and also they are asking to fill a form including 3-4 prompts with 250 words response.

@sonpat It was weird. When clicked the alumni interview it took to a completely different page and asked to enter login id/pwd and displayed a form with prompts. Noticed at the top it was showing Application 2017. Meantime I noticed they decided to visit Bay area again and offered in person interview in Jan 26th. So I registered for that and dropped the plan for phone/skype alumni interview. But today I am not seeing the option for the request to phone interview. So the site is dynamic and depends on what is already requested probably.

@GoldenRock and @sonpat . It is ditto what Goldenrock said. I see all that. It is pretty tedious amongst so many other things due. Did you submit it already @ Goldenrock? There was a message saying we need to wait for 24 hours after C1 was completed to schedule interview. I didnāt keep track of when C1 was done on my portal. So I will submit it today. I am opting for in person interview in my area( not very close but ok).

@goaltobemd Reviewed the app and instructions and here is my interpretation. Though the wording says GPA to date, simple provide the GPA of what your official report provided and sent for the first 3 years. Because the instructions says " It is not necessary to have grades for the first semester of your senior year before you submit your application. We will request these grades, if needed. You do not need to send them to HPME if not requested.". Simply state the senior year courses and put IP in grade column. If you opt you can put wording to indicate GPA for the first 3 years or as of some date in summer.
@teenagecrime Congrats and good luck with your interview. Looks like they reviewed AMC app and provide response very very quick. What date the interview? Do you get a choice or the date is given?

@goaltobemd I put my transcript GPA! After all, thatās the same transcript my counselor and I uploaded.
@ITMom56 Apart from everything @GoldenRock says, you can also travel to Rochester to have that recommended admissions interview (I did! I wanted to have a look at the campus.) However my interviewer told me that they are, in fact, already reviewing the REMS appsā¦ so Iām not sure how much an interview would factor in at this point!

Received SBU interview invitation. Email came last week and also received postal mail yesterday. Interview dates: Jan 23 or 30.
@goaltobemd for HPME I also have the same question. As per school counselor, we should go with the GPA upto 11th grade as the first semester is in progress.
