<p>@HateSMUS: You made the claim. The burden of proof is on you. And so far, you haven’t actually provided any. You also aren’t endearing yourself to anyone by calling others “ignorants” (not even a word, btw) for not believing your overly arrogant and biased posts.</p>
<p>Look, there is no one that will say that AA does not exist. But it does not exist to the point that decisions are based entirely off of it. There was a supreme court case (I forget which, google it) that stated that race could only be a factor out of many in holistic admissions. And though this plays against Asian American applicants (me included), we are also, on average, given more opportunities and more ability to succeed than African Americans or Hispanics. That is fact.</p>
<p>And though I agree that it isn’t fair that admissions aren’t a complete meritocracy, there is nothing we can do about. So just do the best you can and let everything else that has to happen, happen. AA is what it is. It won’t change.</p>

<p>None of you came up with my specific comments about blaming my rejection to other URMs. Please do so because I’m 100% confident I’ve never complained about my rejection. When I got rejection, it rather made me humble. My knowledge in AA has never been changed since I was informed Asians are harder to get into top schools. Unless you guys are going to come up with some evidence, stop trying to teach me since you are not in any position to do so.</p>

There were people denying the presence of AA and I told them there is. It’s that simple but you don’t seem to get what I’m saying. Of course, the presence of AA is not gonna change the admission decisions entirely. As I repeated overtime, I wasn’t good enough or fit for Columbia nor had I had satisfying essays. I’m done with Columbia unless others struggle to bring out to challenge me. So please bring me proves or stop.</p>

It’s too bad if some of you are not clear about it. My focus is now UChicago. If you are URM, just appreciate. If you are ORM, just suck it up and do your best.</p>

<p>Second thing: AA exists. It’s not the perfect remedy – I think we ALL know that at this point. However, it’s reasonable, sound, and just. Just don’t assume that less affirmative action will help you get into a school. That’s pretentious – that’s why you ****ed a lot of us off.</p>
