<p>I managed to forget about UChicago for two hours (looked at art instead!) but now the anxiety is back in full force and I’m going to get rejected and oh dear…</p>

<p>Do other colleges plan when they send their emails out to stress us out? Just got emails from Pepperdine and UPenn in the last few minutes.</p>
<p>I wish I could spend a day as an admission officer from any prestigious school. It must be a roller coaster ride of emotion. I feel like I really hit it off with the officer from UChicago that I met, and I have this image in my mind of her getting to my application, and remembering the conversation that we had and smiling and then seeing my weak essay and crying, knowing that she has to crush my dreams because I’m not UChicago material.</p>

<p>Did you guys ever have one present that you really wanted for Christmas, and as Christmas got closer and closer, you got more and more excited, because you really wanted that present, but then you start to think that you really won’t get it, so on Christmas Eve, you’re nervous, because you really want that present, but you’re also really excited, because no matter what, it’s Christmas? That’s how I feel.</p>
