<p>I thought I would start a discussion for the prospective University of Chicago transfer students as we wait for the decision letters to be sent. How is everybody feeling about their application and essays?</p>
<p>Mneh. It was okay. BTW, does anyone know if we had to send in a midterm report? A couple of my classes don’t have grades yet. And I emailed admissions, but they never replied to me.</p>
<p>Nevermind! They did reply, it just ended up in my spam for some reason. It’s not required (they said it twice, so I guess it REALLY isn’t), for anyone wondering! No awkward confrontations with teachers for me! :D</p>
<p>They were okay. I managed to figure out something really awesome for the essays. Does anyone know when are the decisions due?</p>
<p>Feeling really good about my application, but I know their retention rate is crazy high (I think it’s over 99%)… they only accepted 22 transfers in fall 2012. So I’m expecting the worst, but hoping for the best. Good luck to everyone! :)</p>

<p>Just called Admissions. They said decisions will be out “sometime within the next two weeks, so before May 15. Deposits will be due June 1.”</p>

<p>Haha, no. I don’t think it means anything, I was just wondering if it is glitch or not.</p>
<p>Last year people received decisions at the end of the work day of May 7… so maybe only 2 more days!</p>

<p>I hope that Chicago is not one of the schools that waitlists loads of people.</p>
