Was your decision posted today or yesterday? Nothing from ucla or cal yet, not till mid April

@5nonnegotiables Thanks! I wasn’t expecting it since I was missing a major prep class.
I read my decision yesterday

@Labaker

That is so exciting!! I should be in also because I tagged ucsb and met all the requirements. Even so, I want to see it in writing that I got accepted. I’m at sbcc and living in IV now, so it would be easiest to go to ucsb. I’m still waiting on ucla and Berkeley decisions and am going to visit them again to decide for sure. In case I get in there too.

Hello everyone! I’ve been reading this thread and others for a awhile now and became super stressed out. There were loads of posts stating transfer applicants with IP English and math were being automatically rejected. I emailed admissions and this is what they sent back.

Although a student can certainly become a more competitive applicant if their math and English is completed by the end of fall, it is not an admission requirement that math or English must be finished by the end of fall, and we do admit many students every year that have these courses in progress. However, we do look for indications in their application that the student will be successful in their math or English courses. One such indication is that they received a good grade in their previous non-transferable math course or 1st English course. On the other hand, if a student has a history of withdrawing or failing their math or English courses, or if a student hasn’t taken any math courses at the college level prior to completing their transferable math in the spring, it’s possible that they could be a less competitive applicant.

…

I was accepted with both English and math IP.

Hope this helps. Congratulations to all others!
