Maybe we will all just find out tomorrow?

@tomato

yea, that’s what I’m thinking…somebody here would say something if it was actually up. this website gets so many qualified applicants…one of them would surely be in the first batch and let us know.

Essentially, the point of them putting out the Facebook/Twitter post and maybe a few decisions is so they can claim to adhere to their “mid-April” deadline.

They’re not the first school I know who’s done this.

@ Asap69: Exactly! Someone would have said something either here or on FB…The blog? Somewhere?

@Mikethechimp: <sigh></sigh>

Anyone notice how they just removed the posts from Facebook and twitter…strange

Um guys, is that FB post gone?

Is it just me or did they delete that FB post about first decisions rolling out?

Anyone receives email about how to view decisions online? I got this email but my decision is still not available

And it’s gone from Twitter…Or is it just me?

“Sorry about earlier post, it was in error. Decisions have not yet been released, we just wanted to make you aware of how to view them.” - FB

fuuuuuu unc lol.

False alarm you guys. They just tweeted that the earlier post was an error and decisions haven’t been released yet.

Hey guys, I did not see the post anymore on Facebook. I think none of us will hear back today, whoever know their decisions must by mail! So anxious!

@ihavethefaith That’s normal. The same thing happened to me.

huh? what the…

why are they toying with our emotions?!

whattttttttttttt ? Why they did that to us!

Hi all,

We are so sorry about the misinformation that appeared on Facebook page earlier this afternoon. Transfer decisions are not available to view online. It was an internal office error. We simply wanted to let you know how to view decisions once they are available. You can still do that: [UNC Admissions Blog: Update on Transfer Decisions](UNC Admissions Blog: Update on Transfer Decisions). All decisions will be released by the end of the month, and again we’re sorry for the misinformation! We didn’t mean to inconvenience any of you!

Thanks,
UNC Undergraduate Admissions

This is absolutely ridiculous. How does the admissions office make so many “mistakes” like this? I understand that you take a “holistic” look at every application, but your system of notification is at the very least extremely inconsiderate. Every single experience I have had with UNC Admissions (undergrad, law, and now my sister applying as a transfer) has been extremely negative, and I have been accepted every time. I really do not understand how it takes UNC longer than almost any other school to get information out. Not to mention there are constantly changing messages, conflicting information, or even totally incorrect information coming out. Please put your time that has gone to these accidental posts on social media sites toward actually providing an answer for applicants that have been waiting day in and day out for an answer from your office.

compare that to UVA, I think UNC at least dont give you a link to view your decision when decision is not available. Looking at UVA, I have a link to view decision and when I click on it, it says come back on 1st may. ***
