Thanks for sharing!
And I’m surprised that they don’t have an exact schedule to release the decisions. I thought they just don’t want to fall behind the date they promised so that they gave us a vague time period. (I’m an international student, not that familiar with how they do their work.)

@tndud, I think it just how they reply when receive materials. Relax!!

@tndud6364: I do not know for sure, but I do believe they are in the last stage of finalizing the late applicants or those who were missing documents in order to release decisions. I think what they’re doing is finishing up the last of them and double checking everything to make sure they’re no mistakes. They have on previous occasions, released on a short rolling basis, as in decisions were released over a period of a few days. Furthermore, that seems like an option they are considering since he said “expect them to be released between tonight or Wednesday.” I really hope they decide to do this, if I do actually get accepted, I really want to submit my app for the G.I Bill and move down to Chapel Hill as early as humanly possible.

will they be sending the email to the address we put on the common app, or the one we used to set up our myunc account? (mine are different)

Thanks for your reply brother
I have made up my mind to go to UNC no matter what schools accept me, except for Amherst college only.
Im getting stressed out too much and my body is covered with sweat for the thought of decision being out very soon
I really hope you get admitted and enjoy your NC life.
Lets see what happen to my unc portal…

I believe the myunc would be the address they would choose, considering it is the most up to date of the two.

Tndud6364: No problem, dissemination of information is everything in these kinds of situations.

@CCstudent Do you know how soon after acceptance/admission (if I get in) we’re able to do all the GI Bill stuff? Cause I know they have a limited amount of slots.

bcotton, I literally have the vonapp open at all times and as soon as I get the decision I plan on submitting it. If you’ve dealt with the VA as much as I have, you literally have to give them no excuse to mess it up. And even then, they’re probably going to mess it up.

I just called and they told me by the 15th.

That’s the standard response from the regular admissions personnel that answer the phones. In reality, they have no idea what’s going on. They just know the standard “mid april” response.

Hahaha well then let’s hope it’s today! If so, it’ll probably be in the next hour.

I seriously doubt today. I’m going to stick with Tuesday emails and Wednesday decisions. Well, I should say “pray.”

Yeah my guess is they would post by the latest 5pm. So today seems to be less promising. Well! Here’s to another day of dreadful anticipation!

😡Let’s keep bugging them!

i just have been nominated for $4000 scholarhips and $700 which are a huge sum considering that my school is a relatively small one.
i feel nothing with it though
my soul is into unc
hope see decision tomorrow please…

As soon as someone gets an email/decision, post it on here so we know they’re out!! So anxious!

I have a class during the 5-7 period when decisions are typically released, I’m really hoping I get an email tomorrow morning preparing me for the day.

LUCKILY I GET OUT OF CLASS AT 4:45. Just in time to walk back to my dorm and stare at my inbox for hours with hopes of receiving somethin’ exciting.

personally im done getting my hopes up. Im just going to assume its this friday, anything before that will be a pleasant surprise. After the stress of last week, I can go another week spending everyday and night like this.

But seriously, though. im getting nothing done this week.

relaxxxx ya’ll! don’t stress to much
