High School…I graduated in '97 and I have no idea what my GPA was back then…probably around a 2.5. I did not take SATs.

EC’s - Since I am 33 and married I don’t spend extra time on campus but I am very into photography and I have had a picture published and I volunteer helping sell pictures for the National Zoo fundraising.

I am hoping the fact that I did not have any at school EC’s does not hurt me.

Yeah the only thing I considered was chem club and it was always happening while I was in another class. In my free time I am too busy cleaning my house, making dinner, going to the bank, MVA, etc etc etc. Photography is my hobby and I am good at it so I wrote about that.

There has got to be more of us out there right?

Question for you guys…what does your application status show as right now? Mine is “completed”…but I read in another thread that it changes to “under review” at some point? What do you all have? We should be getting our decisions soon!!!

Mine shows “completed” and change the date as each day passes. However I am not sure if it will say “under review” before we are given our decision. I will call Monday to clarifiy.

Mine also shows ‘completed’ and they change the date as each day passes. Nervous…but hopefully we receive our decisions soon! I looked in previous CC threads and most heard by April 6, I think…:)

I have had 2 dreams this past week about getting in. LOL. Will be even more excited to find out whether I will get an interview for the Transfer Excellence Scholarship.

There are Jengst, I’m applying as an Aerospace Engineering major. I’m not going to post my complete stats and story until after I hear back from Maryland because depending on which way they go it’s either going to be an epic story of redemption or a big ol’ DUBYA TEE EFF.

I will post this tidbit from the ongoing file I have on this topic.

Associate Dean of Clark School (the person who gives the thumbs up or down on internal appeal cases for engineering) says “I’ll go to bat for you, but I don’t think admissions will let you into the university.” Pardon me, but if the person who has autonomy to make or break appeal decisions into a LEP says that, something is wrong with the admissions process.

@da6onet I am also applying as an Aerospace Engineering major and I am also looking for some redemption lol. We are in the same boat!! Good luck, the wait will not be much longer!

Does anybody know, will the decisions coming out this week (hopefully) tell us whether we got into just the college, or will we find out the status of our LEP admission as well?

I have read in past threads that people are still waiting for decisions into May…but we have to decide where we are going by May 1st…so that is weird. I really hope I know one way or another this week.

I just spoke with a friend, who also applied by the March 1st deadline, and she confirmed that when she spoke with an admissions representative, they told her that decisions would start going out on Friday, March 5th…
