Does anyone have an info if I could attend university of michigan?
So I was accepted as a transfer student for Fall 2014 last year but I couldn’t go due to personal problems and I would like to go after this spring semester. Does anyone know if I have to re-apply?
@Kcannon I’m pretty sure they will not send that email for at least another month or so. Same goes for credit evaluations, I called to ask specifically about the credit eval (2-4 weeks after deposit is payed)

@gwoonie idk if the admissions counselors are in bc of Spring break, but talk to yours and see. Because of the situation I was in they explained to me that if I didn’t get in I could just resubmit my application for a different semester. Supposedly your application is valid for a whole school year from your original semester application and that there’s a way to change which semester you’re applying for. But since it was last school year, they might not be able to, so you may have to redo it (although the essay prompts don’t change lol) and if you do have to reapply, I think it helps to mention in your essay how you had been previously admitted.

@ncxfer where does it say that transfers will receive decisions over spring break. Can you copy and paste what it exactly says?
@klaus216 it was in a personal message to me, so I don’t think it’s available to all to see. But basically the person told me that its spring break for students and not the staff.
For those still worrying about sending in current semester courses, a rep just told me that if they’re on your transcript, then you should be fine.
I also called, and they told me that I would get a decision around the end of March or early April. I finished my application they day before the deadline though 
Just got accepted yesterday to the College of Engineering!

College: 3.74 (67 credits)

@briankal Congrats! Do you know when your application was marked as complete? I also applied to CoE but was afraid we’d hear the last, judging from last year’s admissions. But it seems like that has changed. Also, what major did you apply for? Thanks!

@Andrewchen48 You can’t check if your app is complete on WA, you have to call the admissions office and give them your UM ID

I called admissions earlier and she said my file hasn’t been marked as complete but that I have everything… what does that mean? ugh
