@fn1518 I applied as an econ major. I’m a bit worried because I’ve only taken 1 econ course in my 2 years at my cc, and I also haven’t taken calc because the classes fill up so quickly.
Hey everyone, i just chatted with an admissions rep and he said that an email is sent out when you’re application is marked as complete. is this true?
Just to be clear, does the 6-8 week timeframe start after you submit your app, or when everything is in? My GF submitted on January 15th but her high school transcript didn’t arrive until January 29th. I thought she would hear back this week based on the 15th application date, but so far we haven’t heard anything.
@TheDeltaG I believe that they don’t begin reviewing your application until all of the materials are there, so the time frame would start on the 29th in her case.
@NCXfer But have you fulfilled the other general studies requirements (suggested on their website)? I would assume that they rather you take major specific courses at U of M.
I’m looking to transfer also but I don’t know my chances.
I did pretty average in HS (3.6) GPA and TERRIBLE in my ACT (which is why I’m not sure I’ll make it)…but in the summer after HS I decided I wanted better for myself… I’m in CC and I have a 4.0, I work for a prestigious law firm and a non profit organization and I’m in 2 honor societies (PTK and National Honor Society), I have been on the dean list every semester and I do volunteer work and help my community on the weekends. I would like to transfer as a Poli Sci Major to LSA as a junior. Does anyone know the chances of me getting accepted?
@pomich15 The big question is how many credits are you applying with?
Does anyone know when the latest we would receive an admission decision would be? (assuming its not a deferral). I ask because seeing as I applied on the day of the deadline, I’m expecting to not hear for a while. (Or is that not always the case?)
@fn1518 I’m applying with 62…Does that help? I’m so scared
Have any of you guys noticed how when you choose application status on WA the “Show Credentials” and “Application Data” options have shifted to the left since you first logged in? I don’t know if I’m just seeing things, but I could’ve sworn when I first logged in it was centered and since my application has been in the review process, it has shifted. Am I crazy or has anyone else noticed this?
@Kcannon, I think it was always a bit to the left. Mine was always towards the left, even when applying the first time around
Guys I just realized something. My application date says 2/2/15, but I sent it on the first? Is that just the day when they got all of the materials or what?
@NCXfer It takes them a day to process the application. My application date was also a day later than when I submitted the app.
Anyone have any updates? It’s been about a week since anyone heard anything back decision-wise.
I was just accepted this morning into the College of Literature, Science, and Arts.
My stats were:
Washtenaw Community College
-GPA: 3.78 (55 credits)
-All pre-reqs completed
High School
-GPA: 3.66
-ACT: 28 Composite
I applied on February 1st, but it wasn’t marked as complete until the 11th. Needless to say, I was surprised to see a decision in just a little over one week.
Good luck everyone,
Go Blue!
^ what the hell. I applied January 24th and have yet to hear back.
@yonceknowles are you out of state or in state? @cadekong could have gotten an earlier response because he is in state but i’m not sure if that’s why, just speculating.
also @yonceknowles did you apply to LSA or CoE?
I applied to LSA on Jan 13.
Still no deicision
