Who the @* is Clara Burton? I'm no Marxist.

OMG i did terrible on it. it was definetely more specific than i thought it would be! this was my first standardized testing... and what a great way to start, with omitting 19 questions! :( i should cancel.

i believe clara burton founded the american red cross. =/ don't quote me on this, though!

Yeah. I guessed the Red Cross, but I don't see how that is really a history question. That is simple memorization, no historical interpretation necessary. Lame, man.

How long until we can see scores online?

The 24th- about two weeks or so.

i guessed on clara barton.

what was the ashcan school of art?

No idea. I did some research on that right after I came home, but I don't see how any of those answers fit-- or maybe I just don't remember the answer choices. :[ I skipped that one.

i put small agrarian farms for south in early 1800's
pragmatism
italy the country that did not have a lot of immigrants in colonial times
baseball flurished because of urban cities

anyone agree/disagree with my answers

i agree with all of them, except the italy one. i know for sure i put down something else, i just don't remember what! i'm sorry :[

actually, i just found out i could be wrong about small agrarian farms.

the question about differentiating republicans from abolitionist... i put something about consititution?

was slavery protected by the constitution?

I put that the Constitution didn't protect slavery. =/

Me too. That one bothered me.

Ah! A friend of mine at my house took it with me. Our answers, mine first then hers.

Baseball: Urban, Urban
Ashcan: Tenement-Cafe Subject Matter, New Deal
South Economy 1815: Agrarian, World Export
"Law/Logic/Experience?": Pragmatism, Transcendentalism

For the immigrants one, my friend put Italy as well. For some reason, I perceived the question as very early colonial era, and I believe I put Africa. The words immigrant and slave weren't connected in my mind...

The slave-plot ****ed me off as hell. We put "South Carolina is even"... on the basis of that being the only thing you could tell soley from the picture.

Hmm

south carolina was the answer
i put agrarian, but i think the answer was world export

I put down transcendentalism for the law/logic/experience one, as well. Jackson was the one with the spoil system, correct?

I wish they had more questions on WW2 and the Cold War. :[

Was this test hard for everyone or was it just me? A friend of mine said it was ridiculously hard for her. A guy who sat next to me told me the same thing when we both finished the test. :[

hmm.. to me this test was harder than all of the practice tests i have taken.

here are some questions i remember:

settlement houses- jane adam
Albany plan of union?
Friedism (what da heck is that) , other answer choices were loyalism, federalism, mecantilism

what was not represented in hundred days - lendlease
what group of people were not abundant in colonial time- africans, italians, ireland, scot, germany

clara barton- red cross
pragmatism?

Jim crow laws

for the pictures:
Ronald Reagon amongst poeople sleeping in the cold outside: i said "insensitivity to poor people"

Dulles pushing uncle sam off a cliff: what did represent? i put something about nuclear warfare or something

Greek army has guerrilla army put on a platter to someone: i have no idea,,, something about truman doctrine

Oh! I wrote Scotland for that question. Thanks for having great memory, jose1!

I agree with your Reagen picture.
What did you put for the American car one? I wrote that it was hard to define what an American car was now, but it sounds wrong. =/

these facts are so specific... you really have to be knowledgable in like every single period

well i got the same with you the automobile
hard to define a american car i think

i put america didnt sell american cars anymore
it was italy
for greek army i put something about how US was carrying out policy?

for roanoake settlement, i put something about joint stock company

The one with the Federalist confused me. I wrote that they (the people mentioned in the question) differed because one wanted national banks? aslkjgewt. I'm sorry I can't rephrase the question/answer. My memory is failing me at the moment. :[

I hope the curve is excellent for this. =/ I mean, I still have time to retake it (most likely I'll have to), but it'd be nice if I don't have to at all.
