Did anyone put a critique of contemporary culture?

^
I did.

10chjar

Does anyone remember what the question was with tepid as one of the choices?

I choose frame of mind because the author was reflecting his feelings and attitude throughout the passage.

All I remember is that tepid was wrong, so was sophistry. Does anyone remember the question that had doctors…altruism? or any of the other choices for it? PLEASE, nobody remembers

Soporific was right (talked about medicine that induced sleep), but sophistry was an answer choice for another question which was wrong.

For the question reagarding doctoring altruism some of the other answer choices were nefarious, felanious, and others I can’t remember. But i remember there were three that were really similar, so I crossed them out.

Do you remember the context of the sentence though? This is killing me.

It was something like the movie was criticized for _____ (a word which means changing goes here) history, it made the people look ______ who were no more than criminals.
Something along those lines

Critics claim that the creators of Bonnie and Clyde doctored history because no criminals were historically so altruistic. Something along those lines

The doctors altruism question talked about bonnie and clyde. It said that it doctors history because it characterizes them as altruistic when they were no more than felons.

Can someone please help me remember what the other options were for the question with tepid.

Anyone remember what the ellipse question for one of the SAT math sections was asking for.

Did anyone put exponentially for the millionth of P question?

I don’t think I did. Do you recall other choices? I think I put something along the lines of “it wasn’t the same as what the explorer saw”

tbh, I think this reading section is going to have a generous curve. It’s way harder than the blue book stuff and some of the answers like the doctoring question could have only been figured out by POE. Who would have knew that doctoring also means to falsify or fabricate lol

I did not either…anyone remember the question with tepid?

I don’t think this CR will have a generous curve. And besides, it’s only a difference of 30 points or so. I thought many people few “doctoring” was to falsify. (just me?)

I don’t remember. However, I do recall putting “it wasnt the same as what the explorer saw” as an answer choice.
Ehh, I’ve never seen doctoring in any of the prep books( barrons, direct hits, etc. ). Maybe it’s just me? lol

There was this one short passage about some guy who was complaining and one of the questions was what the tone of the other person was. I think appreciative was the answer; anyone remember if that’s right?

I put appreciative!
What did you put for #1 on same passage? (the contrasting question) I put traditional & modern

Jeffrey, did you get Overstated as one of the answer choices for the dolphin question? I think the question was like how would the author of passage one feel to the statement of dehumanizing by the author of passage 2
