damned did i misread the article?
and for the tradition vs. modern one, how do u get that?
i remember the contradiction between high office buildings and satelite dishes

It was tradition vs. modern because they clearly contrasted the nativity of the village and the looming high office buildings and satellite dishes.

how come i remember the contrast is between “high office buildings” and “satelite dishes” but not between “village” and “office”?

I think the structure of that comparison was [a]……[a]……Not [a]…[a]……… where a is the traditional village and b is the modern stuff. I’m not sure why you thought the way you did.

because i thought the question only included the sentence of “building and office”… i don’t know…

I’m sorry Can we have other people’s input on this question? I hate to be the only one contradicting you hahaha :P

can we compile a list of which sections everyone had and which ones were experimental

The Woof one was irony for the reasons theone listed and the calligraphy question was impertinent. The reporter had exhausted her questions but she was still prepared for an interview (so impromptu isn’t the best fit), and further the entire purpose of the anecdote was to show how superficial she was in her questioning, so she went from her planned questions to one that had nothing to do with the subject (thus it’s impertinent), like his age.

it said the camels and cars, the huts and office buildings, and all the contrasts she observed while riding the bike

this is so confusing… i didnt even keep a list of things i got wrong in CR… and i dont wanna even think about Wr ):

what was the curve for october? is anyone taking another SAT this december?

I think I got W:800 M:750 and CR:~650
Time to register for december I guess; screw this BS ><!

For CR the October test seemed to be -2=800, -3=780 and so on.
For M -1=780, -2=750 etc.
For W around a -1=770, -2=740 etc.
That’s from going over past threads, anonymousx37.

Pigoonsk - thats still a good score… 2200!? thats what i want…

@pigsgooink, which writing questions did you put ‘no error’ on? Sir Peter Blake and the 24yo author by any chance?

Also how does one calculate the Writing section?

If one got a 78 on the MC, what does one need on the essay for an 800?

Murmex - wow, the writing curve is that steep!? thats such bs…

again anybody gets “uniform” for the “solid”?

That’s an estimated curve given by some other members, but -2 definitely was 740 (yikes, I know). What was the Sir Peter Blake question, carbon? I put no error for 24yo, by the way.

@Murmex, Sir Peter Blake was the guy whose biography, which came after his death, revealed his love of sailing and his plans to raise public awareness.

I don’t remember having that question, but I might have just glazed over it.
For what solid meant in context I put substantial. It was referring to the support for a claim (or something like it) so it was “strongly built or made.”
