my usconnect just populated with all the stuff from last year, but it looks a bit more streamlined. my app status page says

We have received your Common Application and USC Supplement, and it appears we need more information. Click on “My Admission Documents” in USConnect to see details. Due to the high volume of application documents we receive, allow sufficient processing time.

but my application documents page says I need nothing. I’m sure there’s some letters of rec in the mail still, so it’s probably that I guess.

good luck everyone! usc is probably going to be the last school you will hear back from so sit tight. study hard your last semester and stay buusyyyy.

Hey, guys! Been following this thread but this is the first time I’m posting! I"m kinda worried…I applied 9:27 PM (Pacific) but it says submitted 12:27 (Eastern!!!) Am I considered late even though I submitted my common app on Feb 1st pacific?! (If it helps, supplemental was sent couple hours earlier…) Helppp!!

I just realized that I want to send my resume in as part of my application. I couldn’t add it into additional comments because I had to talk about something else in that portion. Can I still mail it in since it isn’t a requirement for the application?

@LAlove I wouldn’t submit it unless there is something on it that isn’t on your application. They gave you a section to list your activities (basically a resume) and you don’t want to be redundant.

@LAlove, at the same time, they wouldn’t dock you points for sending in more documentation than you should. The admissions office would enjoy that you are being proactive, as it shows you truly care about going to USC.

Like ronaldot said, however, refrain from listing activities you already listed on your Common App.

Hey guys !I was just wondering how long does USC process the apps and when do you get the USC connect info? Will they notify you? Thanks! Good Luck Everyone!

good luck to everyone!!! hope we still keep posting during the nerve racking wait!

but i’m kinda lost. does USC e-mail you to make an account or do you have to go to the admissions page and make one yourself? because i tried to make one but there isn’t like a “sign up” kind of button and the “request password” thing for first time users isn’t working either. i put my e-mail address and it just says “password request fail” anyone know?!?!!?

@uscacceptme - same issues as you…imagine it takes a little while for our commonapps toget into the USC system to create the USConnect account. Guessing we’ll have access w/in a week

hey guys! sooooo relieved now that I turned in the app. finallyyy. I seriously feel 10 times lighter now lol. hopefully we’ll all have good news for each other in a few months :)

I was just wondering, does anyone know how spring grade requests work exactly? can you be accepted to USC without getting a SGR? and if you do get one is that considered a good sign or is it pretty common to get one? and about what time do they notify you if they do send you one?

I was also wondering how important Spring grades are, not just ofr USC but transferring in general. Is it like high school spring semester of senior year where we just need to maintain a 3.0 as to not get revoked or do we need to keep up the same standard of grades?

I’ve heard if you get SGRed they want to see more of your academics and how strong you finish off your final semester. Also if you still have major prep courses in progress for your major there’s a high chance you will get sgr
