is css profile and fafsa all due today?

@saltedcashews No not until March

@hepburn95 oh ok thanks! do you have the site that has the deadline and the info bc all i can find is feb 10… -_-

@saltedcashews No I’m sorry I don’t! I got the info in an email but I can’t find it in my trash box. But it’s on my calendar as due on March 2nd. Transfer students have a later deadline.

@saltedcashews here is the link to USC’s transfer Financial Aid information and deadlines. http://www.usc.edu/admission/fa/applying_receiving/undergraduates1/transfers.html
I hope this helps!

If I didn’t get Trojan transfer plan do I still have a fair chance of admission?

@hopefultrojan9 It helps if you’ve shown degree progress, an upward trend, and have completed the english and math requirements. The rest is up to you in your CA essays and writing supplement. It’s an arbitrary process after that, IMO.

Also who else did not get the Trojan transfer plan? Everyone I know seems to have it and it’s making me worried

@hopefultrojan9 I didn’t get it either. I’m not thinking about it though, all you can worry about is doing the absolute best you can, and putting together as well-rounded of an application as you can. Just give it your best, and leave no doubt!

@hopefultrojan9 I don’t know a single person who had it and everyone I know got into USC. A lot of people who have the plan still don’t get in. It’s helps them, but not having it doesn’t hinder you. A very small percentage of transfers apply with the plan.

What is a Trojan Transfer Plan?

@esai23 Some people that don’t get in out of high school (typically legacy) get put on the Trojan transfer plan which says that if they complete requirements X, Y, and Z, they will get in as a transfer.

Is there anyway to add stuff to the “additional info” section if I already submitted the app? I know the UCs have a correction form.

@randombookie Once it is submitted, that’s it. I’m pretty sure the only thing you can change (per their permission) is your major choice, but you have to call them or do it in writing.

@randombookie - I contacted USC a week ago and they told me I could use USC connect to upload any documents I couldn’t upload/address in the common app. I also need to add to my “Additional Info” section so I’m going to upload a word document addressing all of that.

Does anyone else’s USConnect say that they “still need more information,” even though all of the documents have been received? Is this just because the deadline hasn’t passed and they haven’t looked at the applications yet?

@hepburn95 - My USConnect said that they don’t have my high school transcript. When I called them, they said that they have it but it just hasn’t been processed. I think you should be fine.

@esai23 Thank you!

Hey all…How the heck do you read the Document Mamagement Page? Is everything under “recieved documents,” even the ones with the red i’s recieved? Also, can we make changes to our writing supplements and common app essays after I submitted it on Feb 2nd?

@andy1l17 You can’t make changes to your common app unless it’s change of major (maybe) or a change in contact information. Everything should be under received documents.
