Just confirmed on YouSC that my spring grades have gotten to the admissions office, since I was SGR’d a few days ago. Do you guys think that I’ll hear back later this month since I sent it in early?
@EMWRBRTN looking at last year’s transfer decisions thread it looks like most SGR’d applicants got their decisions in mid July.

@poisonx that’s what I thought, but my portal updated from the “we will notify you in mid-july” message back to the “we will notify you by June 1” message.

I have her and met her in person. She is very nice! In the beginning she came off a little rude to me, but after she got to know me things got better.
Both my friend and j go to the same school and were admitted, and another friend of ours got a SGR. So I would say Kenley is pretty fast!
@poisonx, from what your GPA is, it sounds like you’ve been pretty consistent. I definitely wouldn’t say it’s rare; besides Film, Marshall is one of the tougher schools to get into, and I think after being SGRed, getting in just depends on how many people who have been admitted to Marshall have chosen to go there, and how your GPA matches up to theirs. I think you have a pretty good shot though, just do your best the rest of the semester, SC can’t expect anything else from you besides your best.
