Official USC 2015 Transfer Thread

@ForeverGymnast21 I will be a junior transfer, granted all of my credits transfer over

@zettasyntax I hope so! I just won’t believe it until I have an actual letter haha

@westcoaster5567 You must be very excited getting in much earlier than the June deadline congrats - as a junior transfer just curious how many credits you had when you first applied?

@westcoaster5567 congrats! I’m a sophomore transfer so they won’t accept me without an SGR the wait is killing me

@ForeverGymnast21 thanks! nothing has updated since the stars audit report on wednesday, so I’m trying to wait patiently… which is proving to be extremely difficult lmao

@madlion21 I had just short of 60 credits when I applied and will earn my associate’s next month

Just got an sgr… I am a freshman at Orange coast college and I applied with 24 units before this semester and also I’m on the Trojan transfer plan so not really sure why I got an sgr, anyone else in the same boat?

@Smoon12 did u get a letter or was it on your youUSC portal???

i also got a SGR and i applied as a junior. Major is Economics for Dornsife.

it was on my USC portal.

Omg guys…shits getting real

@Smoon12 @trnsferstudent what are your majors?

@juniorwhooper101 mine was also on portal and I applied to global health in keck school of medicine with no alternate major

@Smoon12 did you get an email to notify you that you had received a new message on YouSc or you just happened to log in to see the message? I hope all goes well for you!!
@trnsferstudent whoops, i just read your major haha

i just checked on my you.sc and clicked on check my application status and there was a message for me

@trnsfrstdnt Did you at least receive an email?

When they sgr you, you don’t submit until your semester ends though right? So that means you won’t know if you’re accepted or not until July basically?

I haven’t been getting any emails when there are notifications on you.usc and yep @mick96

Hey guys I have a super big problem/important question. I am currently enrolled in a four year university and like you I am waiting for my decision. I am a freshman right now and I am on the TTP. I however am extremely worried that they are going to ask me for a SGR, but not because my grades are poor. If I stay at my current university I will be living off campus and I need to make a decision soon on where to live. If I were to be accepted in July for instance, I would have already paid several months of a 12 month lease, not to mention I would need to find somebody to fill my lease. Is there any way I can communicate this to someone at USC to urge them to just give me a decision? A SGR is about as good as a rejection to me.

I got a SRG request also. Just posted at the portal…my school ends on May 22

@panzer1945 thank you for sharing. If you do not mind, what is your major?
