@onmyway8 On the previous page @ForeverGymnast21 posted it. If you can’t login with MMDDYYYY as the password, you don’t have access to OASIS.
@LEGASC If you want to try again use your USC ID and your birthday MMDDYY that worked for me last Thursday then it asked me to change my password although my restrictions have not updated (still shows 1/27/15) which is probably the day my application was first processed. Good luck hope it works but if not it’s not uncommon to be unable to access it and it doesn’t mean acceptance many people never got into it and got their package in the mail.
I think we’re all just very anxious to know our decision!
Does anyone think it’s possible if you can’t access OASIS now, maybe we can later? I can’t access it either. I’m wondering if I keep trying maybe it will let me in eventually as if the committee has made some sort of action on my application. Of course, this is my anxiety talking haha.
Also! I read on last year’s thread about a speculation on access to OASIS. It’s totally a theory… but some people were saying that if they did not apply for financial aid, they were unable to log into OASIS. That is also the case for me! Kind of interesting. May or may not be the case.
Do you guys think it would be a bad idea to drop a class? I have to go out of the country for an emergency this upcoming weekend and my Biology 1A teacher told me that I can’t make up a test that we have next week and that it would damage my grade. What should I do? I don’t want to have a W on my transcript. I’m really concerned about this situation…
@aubreygiveshugs that’s definitely an interesting theory. I also didn’t apply for financial aid and am unable to access OASIS.
@aubreygiveshugs i dont think that theory is valid because i applied for financial aid and i still cant access oasis
@dmdwelle when you applied last year, did you have any LORs?
I’ve been unproductive lately because I’m stressing about decisions
@aubreygiveshugs I don’t think that is true. I applied for financial aid and am not able to log in to oasis.
@elmhsstudent Acceptance came in online, just got a packet today.
should i be worried if i haven’t received a SGR yet?
@RAHforHEE Congrats once again.
@ajw14f It is too early to be concerned over SGR/acceptance/rejection notifications. Last year, applicants started to receive SGRs on 4/25/2014 and acceptance letters started to pop up in the first week of May, so we will have a better picture of admissions within the upcoming week. Hope that helps.
Do any of you know when Viterbi should start sending out SGRs/acceptances? I’m a sophomore transfer so I fully expect an SGR.
@SCAstrojan I’m not sure of an exact date, but Viterbi applicants seemed to get decisions and such last during the process last year, so you might have to wait the longest compared to people with majors in other schools
@zettasyntax thanks that’s basically what I figured. I just feel like I’m a solid applicant with a lot of contact with the school plus trojan transfer plan and I just want to know. I’m just being impatient. Good luck to you!
@RAHforHEE Great news on getting your packet in the mail have you heard about your financial aid yet? Once the “Official Accepted Transfer 2015 Page” is established post your stats/info as you were the first to get in - hopefully we will get our decisions soon too.
@RAHforHEE how convenient. You got your acceptance a while ago they took long to mail it to you
A lot of people in this thread need to RELAX and go out and keep enjoying your life and focusing on finishing up strong, it might sting not to get, but it’s not the end of the world and continuing to be nervous about it is going to to make this next month horrible, just calm down and believe what you have done is enough to get in.
