For the people who are wondering about access to OASIS, it is a strange situation. Some applicants can access and some can’t. It doesn’t mean you are rejected because you can’t access it. And vice versa.

I can’t access to Oasis it says I have an invalid id/password. This is frustrating: ( I wish USC notified us on the same date.
@20tigger17 thank you for your help/responses! I hate having access to oasis, I really hope the report is inaccurate or lagging
@ForeverGymnast21 I know what you mean, I really wish everything was updating right and making sense. For me, the fact that the YouSC portal Is taking so long to update with decisions is really hard to be patient about… But I know this is their first year with the new system so I just hope they get their kinks worked out and everyone finds out soon!

Junior Marshall Applicant - 3.65 gpa from CCC
My counselor emphasized how important calculus was, so I think that grade being an A will really up your chances of hopefully being accepted.
@TedNicholas Those are great stats and EC, sounds like you’d get admitted. And I haven’t heard anything yet, my fingers are crossed though haha

Although the fact that your restrictions changed and your stars filled out the very next day makes me think that the silly trick/hint does still work; I don’t ever recall anyone seeing a restriction update and having the stars filled out the same day =\ It is all confusing stuff though.
A LOT of you guys need to stop asking the same questions when it comes to getting SGR’d, it’s pretty clear if you go through a couple pages of this thread your question will be answered…
I think I received a SGR because my required documents now asks for my college transcript… But my received documents contains my college transcript from Feb. I understand somebody had a similar situation but I’m at work so I can’t look back. Can somebody confirm if I did in fact a SGR?
@rosyme this is currently the same situation i am in, however when i called it said that they had not recievied my cc transcript at all so i had to send them again…i definitely reccommend giving them a call to clarify
SO if you get a SGR and get a 4.0 does that mean that you have a high chance of getting in? otherwise it doesn’t make any sense
@mmoore0142 I read the check your application status and I can confirm that it is a SGR. It just updated.
@USCwanabe I would definitely think there’s like a 99.9% chance you’d be accepted if you kept a perfect GPA. It is hard to say though. People do get rejected with 3.9-4.0GPA’s. I would know as they rejected me last year 
I had a 4.0 with 37 units and then a 3.93 after an SGR (only had 1 B with 21 units of spring coursework).
I got rejected from EMORY UVA and Umich usc is my one and only … and i got SGR… this sucks

quick question, so i called my counselor on Monday, April 27th and left a message because he didn’t pick up and my restrictions date changed on the 28th? could that mean that he just looked at my application and is still in the process of making a decision? I’m not super sure how the decision process works so i am not sure how long it takes, so could that be the reason my restrictions changed and my report is the same?
@USCwanabe I was rejected from just about every school I applied to last year. You sound like a stronger applicant for USC than I was. I had no test scores or anything else to really help me out.
@trnsfrstdnt I never asked, but I’m guessing it was because I got a B in math. I had chosen undecided/dornsife as my first major choice, since I wouldn’t have been a junior yet and it said sophomores don’t have to declare a set major. My counselor did email me and ask for my math grade only, so it was like I got an sgr, but just for one class. I have no idea if getting an A would have changed things.
Quickie Q: I got a Winter Grade Request on Thursday the 23rd, sent the PDF electronically via the transcript company that Santa Monica College uses; they emailed me Monday the 27th saying it was delivered. The WG request is still there on my youSC portal. Is this typical, the portal not being updated quickly as you submit documents? I have submitted other financial stuff via the youSC upload system, so maybe because this was sent differently there’s more lag?
@zettasyntax aw man that sucks. well i hope u hear good news this year! i also got a B in calc 1 and am fully regretting it. Luckily now i have an A in calc 2 but since im applying as an Econ major calc 2 isn’t even needed…
