They requested more information from me. I had a little break in my education and they wanted me to explain it. Do you think that’s a good sign? why would they care if I was going to be rejected. And do you guys think that now ill have to wait to hear the decision? Like until july?? :\
@lordfx They like to see that you’ve been taking rigorous full-time courses. If you took a break you better have a damn good reason for them so make it a good one!
I was promoting mental health awareness and acting as an advocate for people with schizophrenia in the eastern leeward islands of the Caribbean and South Africa. and I am a psych major. so no, I am obviously not worried about that… but my question was do I have to wait until july to hear anything
@lordfx Most schools want to know about gaps in education. Lots of older applicants need to explain every little gap in education since HS. Most of the time it’s a non-issue unless you’re taking a break from school to take a break from school. I had a gap in education for 1 year between HS and CC and had to explain why.

USC sends out rejections during the entire month, the reason you don’t see it on this forum, is because most ppl don’t want to go running to an online forum to say they got rejected, so asking anyone on here if they got rejected is a very moot point.
@scismydream I would assume, it would mean you have a better understanding of transferring there and if you did what you needed to do and did well, you “should” get in. However there is no difference for an applicant being on that plan or not in regards to chances of getting in or not.

@acole16 Yes I was able to register on the housing site and start an application. I only checked after my OASIS stuff changed, didn’t try before then, so I don’t know if maybe anyone can access the housing portal.

I was stalking the #trojans hashtag on Instagram and more and more people are getting their acceptances. It’s discouraging that I haven’t heard anything yet! 
I haven’t seen engineers that were accepted yet , looks like the biology and business school are rolling their acceptance out though.

I got an SGR yesterday, and they said I’ve been emailed specific instructions, but I haven’t gotten the email yet.
It also said in the letter that the’ve “enclosed specific instructions,” but there were no instructions. For those of you that got an SGR, where were your instructions located? I feel like i’m missing something
@acole16 honestly I don’t really know… My OASIS had the restrictions and STARS change, but my YouSC portal isn’t saying anything and I have been traveling away from home so I don’t know if I got a package by mail or not. I will be back next week so I just have to wait to find out until then I guess… The thought of my decision mail just sitting there is driving me crazy though!
