my online portal has absolutely NO shift at all, not even in my application status! honestly you just have to wait for the mail as anxiety-inducing as that is!
So are the notifications supposed to be in the mail today? Like if we don’t get it today, does that mean we aren’t getting one?
@katcon I think it depends on where you live… For example, if you’re in SoCal then yes, most likely if you don’t get one today or even tomorrow (that’s sort of pushing it but still…) you probably aren’t going to receive one… But if you’re in New York or something definitely give it a few more days.
Accepted today (Central Florida) to USC as a Presidential Scholarship Finalist!
@ubermika Did you receive anything by email / by USPS? I hate having my mail come later in the evening. Oh the woes of NorCal.
It came through mail and it says at the top “Priority Mail”! It’s a large yellow envelope and has a lot of brochures inside

The one big flaw in their system is they don’t send out the “you didn’t receive a scholarship letter” for several days after the packages go out. That leaves many wondering (and endlessly hoping) if their mail is delayed, got lost, etc and really extends the agony for a lot of students. (Especially for you east coasters with the storm this week.) Every year I think they will know to correct that and send the “you didn’t” letters with the “you did” packages. It appears they are sending the “no scholarship letters” later again, that I don’t understand the reasoning behind.

@ARandomGeek SOME EVIL PERSON PUT A YELLOW PACKAGE IN MY MAILBOX AND IT WAS A PHONEBOOK. I got it so quick and slammed it in the trash. You are not alone 
Are they all mailed on the same day? Could it be that they are mailed in batches? Does anyone know?
So if you didn’t get a letter today you didn’t get a scholarship then right? The next batch that goes out is solely for scholarship rejects I believe. And then actual acceptance or rejection letters for those go out at the end of March
