Nothing in the mail from USC, San Francisco Bay Area. I’ve seen that others in the bay area have already gotten theirs, does that mean I’m out?
@lovely9775935 I applied to Marshall and I haven’t heard anything yet. Haven’t heard from anyone else who applied to Marshall either. Now that’s just one more thing giving me hope after nothing came today lol
And @Homie253 I’m in Bellevue and I just got my mail, nothing from USC. I did get the presidential scholars thing and got excited but its just a trip to dc with no money attached 
@CaliCash they are all postmarked the same day…
The booklet I received says “Trustee Scholarship Finalist” on the outside cover, but the inside gives information on both the Mork Family and Stamps Leadership as well. Did anyone receive a booklet that said “Stamps” or “Mork?”

Hey guys, anyone from the Dallas Fort Worth area get anything from Viterbi? I applied and not to be cocky but I thought I’d get a letter since I got a 2310/34 SAT/ACT and a 4.00 unweighted and a 5.21 weighted GPA.
So. I got a yellow packet today, postmarked the 23rd. However, it doesn’t talk about any scholarships. Does this mean I wont be getting one? Does the scholarship notification come in a different letter? I’m really confused about this because you guys make it seem like if you get your acceptance packet now that you are being considered for a merit based scholarship. I got into Viterbi.
@fahimi1351 I saw someone post from viterbi and got one. And how do you have a 4.0 uw and 5.21 weighted? That’s a really weird scale
@mufeforever From what I gather from this thread and some of the posts of past parents of alumni, no scholarship notification with the packet means that you got the Deans scholarship (1/4 tuition). However, I could be wrong, so don’t quote me on this.
Really hope I get a package from USC in the upcoming days. Tmm the post office might be close due to the storm but ugh I’m so nervous
so i just called the admissions office…
i asked them if they have sent scholarship notifications to those who applied to marshall and he said “i don’t think we have sent those out yet… we send them out in batches and one batch was sent on friday, and another today, so I think we will be sending those for marshall and deans later this week”

I live in the Bay Area, and I just got the yellow envelope in the mail! I’ve been invited to interview for the half-tuition Presidential Scholarship, although it doesn’t really matter because I’m a National Merit Finalist. Can someone explain how that works – should I decline the interview?
BIG ENVELOPE CAME!!! So there wasn’t any scholarship info in it, does that mean I got the dean’s scholarship?
Any word from DC or its suburbs?
@crhomberg21 Are you sure there wasn’t any scholarship info? In my packet, I was surprised by how hidden the info was (at the bottom of the Admissions Conditions page).
I just spoke to a lady in the undergraduate admissions office and she told me to check online and e-mails tomorrow because there are packets being sent out tomorrow. I’ve never heard of them sending this out in batches but she said that that’s how its being done this year, so as of right now, location doesn’t matter in terms of who gets what when other than delivery speed… So those of you who haven’t received anything yet have hope!!! Our packets may not have been sent out yet!

I believe we have a 1.3 weighted scale. Not too sure about it either.
