People, I know this isn’t much comfort, but you really should not despair over not getting a merit scholarship offer. This first round is just a small fraction of those who will be accepted to USC. I know it stinks having to wait longer, but hang in there and Fight On!
Has anyone heard from the Iovine and Young Academy about those interviews? I applied and got the general “you did not get a scholarship” email. I still haven’t heard anything about that major, though.
i have the same question as @machinelaser126 … i got the general email saying I’m not up for the big awards, but could i still get a deans scholarship which are “being sent out throughout the week”?

I’m the bearer of bad news-- most of the acceptance packets are sent out through USPS Priority Mail, meaning that the maximum amount of time they should be in transit is 3 days. Most Dean’s scholars should have been accepted but not invited for an interview at this time. I’m sorry, but now should be the time to focus on other colleges and scholarships! Good luck!
Have any Annenberg applicants heard?
I applied to annenberg and got the no scholarship email only an hour ago. They seem to be a bit behind.
Although I’m kind of down about it, I wasn’t expecting to get any huge scholarship. I’m not even expecting to get in at all, to be honest. I think I overestimated myself. We will find out at the end of March though!
Anyone know if the decisions for the WBB program at Marshall have been sent yet?

I know it’s not a prolific school on these forums, but did anyone apply to Thornton? I haven’t received mail, an email, or a portal update. I haven’t seen anyone mention this school either.

Got my mailed acceptance yesterday and just received the portal notification that I got the Deans scholarship!! For people looking it’s under the admissions decision link

It’s possible to get Dean’s if you have already been accepted but haven’t been notified for finalist status for any of the big 4 scholarships.
@dragonflymusic , in fairness to emhelm. I don’t think he was attacking anyone. He has said the other person is his friend and that his friend deserved it. And he didn’t bring up race either. He asked why someone with lesser stats got a letter when he didn’t and I asked if the other person was an URM. So it flowed from there.
Should we respond to the email thanking them or whatever and expressing how much we want to go to the school even without a scholarship?

I think it was sent out from an automated system so replying wouldn’t do any good.
