@Steventocollege It can happen. A lot of people will BS about their kid’s academic or athletic scholarship, but letters are sent out early and off the grid from all colleges to some chosen ones.

Do you think the malfunctions with the website maybe means that scholarship awards are being mailed/updated soon like tommorrow. I read somewhere that a few years back they were sent on January 20.

Ha @couplemoreweeks, that will get people all revved up! This time of year is so funny as the speculation of anything that seems a bit different must mean decisions are coming out soon. “My internet connection is slow, it must be USC uploading decisions!” Funny thing is, 99% of them are wrong, but then there is the one prediction that is the result of a change that actually does indicate their arrival. Let the predicting games begin!

@jakerzz97 @couplemoreweeks I mean I guess it is a possibility but from looking at the forums from past years, it looks like there’s a trend in which they mail the decisions out on a Friday so I’m guessing this years would be mailed out on the 23rd. I could be wrong, but there’s no way to know except just wait and find out! [-O<

Hey @couplemoreweeks - I think it is great fun, and like I said, you could make the right prediction! I was so caught up in all this the first time around, checking everything the minute someone mentioned it - it’s a frenzied nervous energy that cc creates. Beware, it will make you crazy! I have to admit I was hoping that the blank page was indicative of good news but some people who applied a few days ago had the same blank ‘welcome’ page as well… I think the website was either overloaded with all the January 15th applicants accessing their portals or USC was revamping their website…

I applied by the scholarship consideration deadline and I can’t think of anything else… I don’t know how I am going to wait until April if I don’t have good news at the end of this month…! I know how competitive this scholarship consideration is but I can’t help being hopeful… :((
