Not sure why people are posting their weighted GPA since UW only accepts unweighted GPAs. My in-state D still has not heard.

You are “engineering undeclared” because you probably listed computer engineering (or electrical engineering) as your first choice major and were directly admitted to the College of Engineering.
Had you listed computer science as your first choice major and were not among the few who were admitted directly to the major, you would be “pre-science.”

ive read the university encourages students who do NOT get direct admission to engineering consider other schools. that’s fair and good advice, however, if that’s the case, what’s the point in accepting them as “pre-science” majors when the likelihood of them getting into engineering after two years is as slim as it is?
Been checking every hour all day. Just notified at 10:30 pm PST accepted. I’m in-state.

I still didn’t get anything:( do you guys think they’ll update me before 12 AM? I’m in state and I live 3 miles away from UW?

Checked all day every hour, checked at 9:30 pm and nothing then checked around 10:30 pm and there was the Congratulations message.
I was accepted last night after I fell asleep (EST time zone), OOS, applied for Business Administration, 35 ACT, 3.86 UW
Informatics does not have a Direct Admit option. If that is her first choice, it may still be possible.
Anybody who got pre-sciences instead of direct admission to CS, going to appeal? Does anyone know the likelihood that a person can be accepted by appealing/petitioning?
