Official Vanderbilt University Fall 2014 Transfer Thread

@Prospects80‌ Yeah, you could do that. It would probably help your situation.

@CaptTS Does that mean my app is weak? lol.

@Prospects80‌ No!! Haha, it would just help explain what your worried about, what you feel should be one of the most compelling parts of your application. Your application looks fine!

And yet again, I make a spelling error. you’re

@Juvenis‌ did you end up checking today? haha

@CaptTShannan LMAO nope. How long do they give us to respond, should we get accepted?
And who else got their decision? How did it go?

@Juvenis‌ Probably May 1st. haha

@CaptTShannan Lol I wish, but I don’t think it works that way for transfers. I received an acceptance from one of my other schools and they’re only giving me 10 days to respond :frowning:

@Juvenis‌ I actually think you have two weeks if I remember back to last year’s thread.

@Juvenis, you can ask that college for an extension, if you haven’t heard from all your schools yet.

does anyone have a sense of when the next round will come out

@TransferGirlSoph‌ Sometime next week, I’m assuming. If one of us has time tomorrow, we should call admissions and ask.

If anybody calls, please write what they tell you here.

Nose goes.

I’m sort of irritated me because I sent a message Friday and asked if a decision date had been set and they said that it would be in two weeks. I just wish they would give straight answers haha

I honestly think that they extended the deadline because they did not have a lot of applicants. There website says that they wanted to give applicants more time to turn in their applications because the Common Application system caused delays…but a month is a very big grace period…In viewing past threads, I did not see admissions decisions being delivered this early. I am starting to become anxious and confused. :frowning:

Maybe they were saying yours would be in two weeks? Since it’s rolling, wouldn’t that mean there is no set date for all decisions?

@Celtic02‌ I asked it anonymously. And I should have specified that I said “first decision date” instead of just decision date because there is no set decision date, like you said.

@CaptTShannan‌ Oh, then yeah that’s annoying haha

I called on FRIDAY and the woman told me decisions would start coming out in the end of April…

That was definitely not the case.
