Let’s just wait for tomorrow to find out what admissions officers think our chances are! Nothing we can do about our applications now
I sure hope you have a decent shot. We have similar GPAs, but i have a 31 ACT and went the IB route rather than AP. I think you and I have a decent shot now, but an even better shot at RD if deferred. Good luck!
@mk1234455 ^^
@WDC410 i think you’re good. to be honest though, your race/ethnicity in that field is kinda carrying you there. If you were asian or even white i would think a little less optimistically. Your gpa is good too though, which helps your lower end sat. Overall, I think you’re in good luck!
I’d appreciate a chance me!
34 ACT
A- student at top 20 private school in the nation
2 AP’s (but my school lets you take 4 max because the AP level at my high school is incredibly difficult)

Decisions literally come out this afternoon why the hell are people still doing chance me’s.
6pm today!!
today is the day
Why are people saying 6pm there’s no confirmation anywhere
@readytohear The Villanova office of admissions closes at 5PM. Typically universities send out decisions when their offices close to avoid bombarding phone calls from angry parents and upset students. I am assuming it will come out within the hour after 5PM. I’m sure there are a lot of decisions to be processed and it may not be ready exactly on the hour.
@readytohear They are saying that because last year the decisions started coming out at 6.
Chance me:

Stop asking to be chanced. If you want to know your chances, wait literally 10 hours and you will know. If you already applied, then you should already know a general range of your chances and no one here can give you a better guess.
Chance me: 2.3 GPA, 1950 saT, GOOD EC’S, GREAT ESSAYS, SOLID RECS. i know my gpa is lacking, but i think my superior SAT scores give me a solid chance. What do you guys think
I think you are going to be rejected because they are going to send your application to Harvard, Stanford, and Yale since it is too great for them. Then those schools are going to give you scholarships that will actually PAY you $40,000 a year while you attend there. Lastly, why take classes on campus? They are going to send you on a cruise to travel the world WHILE taking your classes!
I hope you know I am joking. Wait 10 hours. You’ll find out what your chances were. No one knows better than the actual Villanova admissions staff.
You are definitely in to CAS and probably in for VSB. Being from KC is a huge boost at a regional school like Nova that is clearly trying to shed its regional roots! Good luck today.
