***Official Villanova EA 2021 Discussion Thread***

EA was super competitive this year. If you were deferred don’t give up!!!

Do we need to send mid year grades if we were deferred?

Accepted: VSB!!!
I’m so excited! Congrats to everyone!

Accepted to VSB 33 ACT

Got into College of Engineering - 35 ACT, 4.0 Unweighted.

Accepted to CLAS! 30 ACT, 4.1 W GPA, Class president, debater, MUN club president for 3 years, founded two clubs, lots of volunteering and Young Democrats of America national committee member. I’m also from KS so that probably helped.

how do i check my status? i cant find it on my portal…

Villanova was the first school that I hear back from and I got deferred! Not complaining as their school of business is super hard to get into, and they just won the NCAA champions so the applicant pool got way bigger.

My daughter got in, VSB, 4.8 W GPA, Rank 1/388

She’s very happy!

Does anyone know if and when they communicate information regarding honors and/or scholarship info? My other daughter got in two years ago and sometime after the new year she got an email or letter saying she was invited to interview for some kind of scholarship. I’m wondering if that’s how it would be done again this year? Or if there are other programs/scholarships that are announced differently?

Deferred!!! So happy.

Any info on scholarships? Can’t really attend without one…

Deferred from CLAS. 32 superscore, 4.0 W GPA. Really good extracurriculars and essays. A little bit surprised, but Villanova wasn’t my top school. Congrats to everyone that got in!

any engineering get deferred/rejected?
