But who knows…WUSTL is weird with their decision postings… It might be 4PM or it might be 5PM…or at a completely odd time…like 3PM on a Friday (coughEDcough)

:((( 10char

5 pm here, and nothing.

I’m going to say nothing and wait again tomorrow around this time. Ahh, less stress for tonight…time to study for my test on Thursday. :/

i smell a rejection, and i feel really sad. :(. oh well, i’ll get on with my life.

lol charlie you having amazing stats why would you “smell” a rejection!

Tomorrow is my birthday. and the day they will likely release decisions. I want to get into WashU, but i wouldnt call it my first choice. Assuming it comes out tomorrow, should i check or wait until Thursday, post-Birthday.

@loopykatastrophe: Hmm… do you think you have enough self-restraint to not check tomorrow? ( :

I’d probably tell myself not to check… but knowing me, I’d still be sitting in front of my computer, refreshing the page frantically!

@loopy: first step is to enjoy your birthday.

at 12 am check CC and if decisions are posted, CHECK your wustl pathway.

i doubt you do lol

i just saw this chain… YOU GUYS THINK DECISIONS COME OUT TOMORROW!!! WHAT HAPPENED TO APRIL 1ST?!

yeah, but WUSTL is projected to reject 80% of its applicants this year, I can’t be too optimistic anymore =/

“but WUSTL is projected to reject 80% of its applicants this year”

dont phrase it like that! it sounds so depressing, even though it’ll probably be true.

@wangatang: Here’s an earlier post in this forum about the notification date-

Quirindongo:

Disclaimer: The date of Wednesday March 10, 2010 as the date that decisions will be released is based solely on data from the past three years. This is when those decisions were released:

March 11th, 2009
March 10th, 2008
March 7th, 2007

April 1st is listed on the website as the “official” date, which means that if you haven’t heard by then, you should contact them. A theory as to why they are released early is so that they can persuade accepted students with mailers, events, and all that good stuff before they hear back from similar schools.

Thank you ocgirl

wow this is a bit of a slap in the face… good luck to yall then!!!

We are all doomed…

I’d recommend that everyone listen to Sitting, Waiting, Wishing by Jack Johnson right now. The song, and the title, both adequately describe the situation we’re in right now (just think of ‘you’ in the song as being ‘Wash U’ lol). Ya…that sucked but whatever lol.

I second what moton12345 said. Just let the soothing melodies of Jack Johnson fill your brains. Take a deep breath. It’ll all be alright.

It has no meaning like motion12345’s song, but “The Man Who can’t be moved” by Script is just an amazing song (im listening to it right now) =]

We’re not doomed, guys…if it’s around 80%, then it’s always been around the same as it is. WashU has always been the school that accepts around 20%ish of their applicants. Another song to the playlist:

The Lining is Silver by Relient K. A friend of mind recommended it to me when I was deferred. So think of a silver lining as a small light with your acceptance. :)

You know what song relaxes me?

“How Low” by Ludacris. ( ; I’m only semi-joking though! Its a good song to exercise to, which burns off a lot of excess nervous energy.

And I second Moon&Star. I don’t think WashU has gotten a mega-increase of applicants this year (correct me if I’m wrong). 20%… could be worse!
