I tried calling the Washu admissions office… they put me on hold and didnot answer back
I am checking for my D. :)

It’s so aggrevating!!!

yep. Very much… I guess we have to wait…

Just try to sit back and relax and don’t bother calling admissions. Nobody is authorized to give out specifics beyond official policy. When asking for such info, you are in effect asking people to compromise their ethics. Everything will be known soon and that will take place no matter what you do or don’t do. That being said, good luck to everyone.

Yes - let’s all stay relatively sane…

Do homework! Go for a run!

You guys make me nervous ( ; Here’s hoping for a decision tomorrow, 2 PST.

5 pm et…i got nothing. this is killing mee.

It most likely wasn’t coming today given the fact that it has been wednesday for the last 3 years. 24 hours until D-Day. Good luck everyone.

someone on the thread about when schools are releasing decisions said March 11

That was last year. Last year the second Wednesday in March was March 11. This year it is March 10.

^^how do you know it’s march 10? don’t get me wrong, that would be awesome, but how do you know for sure?

How would they know that? There’s no empirical evidence to show that it will be March 11th, but, assuming Wash U continues its trend, there is evidence to show that it will be released on Wednesday March 11th. I haven’t looked into what time it has previously been released but if someone wants to, they can simply go to the class of 2012 and class of 2013 threads and see when people began posting (we did this for UChicago EA, and we got the time on the dot) and, again, assuming the trend continues, then we can know at exactly what time to check tomorrow. Again, good luck to all.

@LolyGAGha: We can only assume it will be March 10th and, while that assumption is backed with data from previous years, it, just like every other prediction based off empirical data (especially data that is reliant upon human volition), suffers from something akin to the problem of induction. However, yet again, the best prediction we can make is that decisions will be released tomorrow, Wednesday March 10th so we keep saying that it will be then because that is what we feel is the most accurate prediction. March 11th may end up being the released date, though.

FYI, it’ll be 5PM central time since they’re in St. Louis…so…let’s hope that it might be in 45 minutes if they feel like they should release it today. :D

^ that would be nice!

Reppin’ Florida. Two applied from my school to WashU. Its not well known here in South Florida at least. No one has ever applied with success to WashU from my school. My sis got rejected. She’s now at Notre Dame.

i doubt its 5pm central time… last year it was 4pm central, 5 est

Errh, I’ll wait for 30 more minutes, and if there’s no result until then I’ll assume it will be tomorrow!

I’m not even going to log onto WUSTL pathway unless I see the “Class of 2014 Decisions” thread flooded with posts tomorrow.

i just stalked the 2012 thread and they didnt hear until the 14th… which was a friday
ugggghhh

It makes perfect sense that it would be 5pm central time.

@aznjunior: It is a university in the central time zone, why would they go off of the east coast time zone? Plus they would be spurning the west coast kids.

I mean it would be 4pm central time… I’m just guessing because that is what happened last year.
