Official Waiting Room

3 dayys :)

jackdaniels: GOOD LUCK, seriously :)

let me know how you do? I’ll do the same.

yup, 3 days left…i dunno what to do lol.

Good luck you all  I also applied to all the schools you applied, charlieharper, except the HYPs. Oh, and Dartmouth ED failure. =] got accepted to U Mich though.

And here we go for Washington U :)

Good luck to you as well Charlie, and well, good luck to all of you!

Yeah I know that it isn’t all scores, I’m just saying it plays a huge part. But so does showing interest, which I don’t think I ever showed…

Oh well, too late to do anything now!

I’d be more worried about your grades than your test scores. In the Princeton Review book it says that they take a much more holistic view of each student. This is directly from Wash U’s website:

“Admission decisions at Washington University are based on a combination of factors, including the high school transcript, test scores, personal essay, teacher evaluation, and extracurricular activities. We do not attach specific weights to individual components of the decision (a holistic view of each student is taken). However, a student’s academic record in high school is of critical importance in the admission decision because it is the best indicator that we have of how well a student will do in college.”

is the ACT test score data WASHU releases superscored?

3 more days now right?

Wow, it feels so close!

yes! it is superscored. but still… 32-34 ACT score as the mid 50%?
That seems way too high

2 more days.

-_-; Not going to be a happy camper these next two days…

Neither am I. Although I’ll be an even more aggressive/ depressed camper after I get rejected.

is a 34 superscored in contention? i just want to get innn. ugh.

32-34 is superscored i believe. Are you guys in that range? i got a 32 superscored, so im thinking i have no chance ugh

i got a 36 and still doubtful

oh. ****ing fantastic.

And that’s the beauty of WashU with the scores. >.> Getting even more tense by the day…

Are you positive they will come out this week? How do you know?

Disclaimer: The date of Wednesday March 10, 2010 as the date that decisions will be released is based solely on data from the past three years. This is when those decisions were released:

March 11th, 2009
March 10th, 2008
March 7th, 2007

April 1st is listed on the website as the “official” date, which means that if you haven’t heard by then, you should contact them. A theory as to why they are released early is so that they can persuade accepted students with mailers, events, and all that good stuff before they hear back from similar schools.

i have a 35 superscored… hopefully the decision is actually released march 10-11
