@Jim, I’ve read that it was about an hour before they posted the decisions. I really wouldnt mind the waiting if they would just tell us definitively WHEN we would get the decisions

no facebook and no decisions… talk about a horrible day

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/washington-university-st-louis/1218238-washu-early-decision-class-2016-a-20.html

Apparently the site crashed 2 days before decision last year >.<

Is Facebook down? I can’t get on it.

wow…awesome…I’m just gonna go cry now

they need a new backend…

As much as possible the best thing we can all do is stop worrying about when decisions will be released! Otherwise we’ll fall into this trap:
Today: System error! Decisions coming soon!
Tuesday: Since it wasn’t yesterday, it must be today!
Wednesday: That was weird, maybe there was a problem. Today’s the day.
Thursday: Haven’t eaten all day. Stayed home pressing the refresh button every 10 seconds.
Friday: Absolutely nothing gets accomplished until decision time.

@baseball pretty much sums it up. Not like it’ll stop us from freaking out every day at 5 PM though…

This is my face everyday at five pm… -_____-

Sorry, like -_____-

I can’t even write my other essays properly right now. Hope it’s tomorrow…

have you guys though about the fact that some of us are going to be classmates? the realness of all of this hasn’t hit me yet

The lucky ones of us are going to be classmates. Best not get our hopes up yet. realist for life

@205straylor exactly how I’m thinking :P

anyone know the ed acceptance rate?

I’ve read between 25-30%, but don’t take my word.

@ogallop there’s no official #s, but I think most people believe its probably within 2-3% points of the RD acceptance rate.

I’ve heard that it’s anywhere from 10%-40% (from various sources). It depends on the year. So yes, technically applying ED can a hurt your chances if a lotttt of people applied this year. They don’t want to make up more than around 30% of their freshman class from the ED pool, because then the RD acceptance rate would really plummet.

According to this
2012 Admission Decisions - Google Drive;
it’s 30%

not sure who made that spreadsheet…but washu doesn’t release that information
